We once had Spanish students come to our economics school. We were divided into groups and given tasks. One spaniard put his hand on my shoulders. I know that in his world we are just a group of friends, but my finnish experience was very tense, could not breathe. Hand was there like half an hour.
    Never touch a Finn.

In my childhood in the 80s and 90s, the hat always had to be taken off indoors and at the latest at the dinner table. With rap and hip hop cultures, customs have changed and young people often wear hats inside if it's their style and also at the dinner table. However, it is always more polite to take off your hat inside, especially in the company of older people.

Also about punctuality, as he said don't be late, but also don't be too early! If you show up at meetings, parties etc more than 5-15 minutes too early, it will signal that you have time management issues.
This is especially bad during work meetings, since it means you are possibly wasting a lot of efficient work time by standing around waiting for others for no good reason. It can also mean that you might have bigger issues in planning and time management, that can have a huge cumulative effect in project planning and deadlines
Also, if you are going to a party, people usually tell you when is the *earliest time you can* arrive, NOT when you are supposed to arrive, unless there is some specific timed event. DO NOT go before (or even exactly at) this time, since the people arranging the party might still be in the middle of final preparations!
The hat thing is a bit outdated, and isn't that big of a deal outside of very strict old fashioned schools or the army. Especially if the hat is the type meant to be worn inside, or is a part of your look (like a dude-rag or a scarf for example)

Many of these rules are more important when you're around older Finns, or in a place where people can't easily get away from you like a bus, a library, or a queue in a store. But if you're somewhere outside with a group of friends during daytime it's fine to be a bit noisier. Basically just be mindful of other people and avoid becoming a nuisance to anyone who's forced to be there for any reason 😆 Younger Finns are generally more open too, easier to have a chat with, more flexible with interruptions, and don't mind if you're wearing a hat indoors or even at the table.
In general I'd say that Finns on average are more shy or introverted than many other nations, but once we open up we're not necessarily quiet at all. We don't do a lot of small talk, so if you ask a Finn how they're doing you might well get an honest answer to that, but that also makes it easier in some ways to get to know us 😄

The hat thing is specific for conservatives and reactionaries. As he said "in the army..." To regular people hat is hat, food is food, mind your own business.
If you want to take your hat off, feel free to.

Following some old habits for no reason make no sense. I take my hat off if I want to.

After this video it might sound like there is lots of these rules in Finland but I would say it is really easy to behave here we are not formal at all. Basically just don't act like a douchebag and you'll be fine.
