As somebody who didn't know or even care about fashion a few years ago, I gotta say a big thanks you have been a huge influence on the way I dress and am proud to say I already own the majority of the list in one form or another. Keep doing your thing OG. Love from the UK.
Discovered Johnston & Murphy last year at O'Hare Airport and killed some time during my layover looking at the shoes and man was I impressed with the styles and quality of shoes. Definitely will be the place where I purchase my next low profile sneakers and higher casual dress shoes. 👞
Great basics for guys that need a well thought out foundation. As a 65 yo confessed clothes horse, I agree with your choices and suggestions. I believe the blue blazer is truly the exoskeleton/foundation of any well dressed man's wardrobe. It allows him to adapt to whatever the occasion is. For those that can't yet afford a quality suit, it's the alternative that ALWAYS works. Continue to teach...
Jeff I have to let you know, I took some of your advice and my wife loved it. I'm here in DC and although we have plenty of stylish brothers we tend to go heavy with the Brooks Brother look , which is cool but it's good to mix it up every once in while without going too far and you are a great guide for that. Thank you brother.
Jeff, your look book's today were strong. Some of the photos I've seen before, but man they're good, and worth the refresher course. Thanks for talking about dress boots. I'm currently the market for a dress boot with brogue-ing,, aaah, not exactly the color you showed, but the with brogue-ing for sure. BTW, I've often wondered which, if any, of the online style guys could ever rock a pair of white jeans better than Jose Zuniga. Well, I can tell ya for sure ---- YOU DO! Salute.
Jeff, those boots you showed during the intro looked very versatile. Perhaps you could make a presentation showing a single pair of boots with a range of clothing options. That would be a useful guideline for those viewers whose every day carry is a Flight Bag. Because the boots are too bulky to pack into a Carry On Flight Bag, one would dress to travel while wearing the boots and pack a pair of lightweight loafers, or driving shoes in the Carry-on. Then the boots need to compliment an overcoat as well as a suit, or a sports coat. Sounds fussy, but in Australia, where you spend a lot of your business life flying, the 7kg weight restriction for Carry-on Bags means that choosing your footwear is importan. As usual an interesting presentation. Phil.
… I did enjoy your wide range feature above, indeed. as for me, I’ve come to appreciate two more items that I‘d mention here - one is elegant chelsea boots (in black and natural brown, with fitting belts, of course) and the other is self-wound bow ties, the latter in accentual colours, hq silk (better to wind), and what‘s especially great with latter is that they‘re never in one‘s way, neither in soup or alike, nor drawings, nor instruments etc. and as for button-down shirts, it may de-stress somewhat if one opts for ironing-free ones - and acquaints oneself with proper folding | compression techniques for storage and carrying them along, eg on travel.
I’m 57 years old and consider myself a stylish and classic guy the only item on this list that I don’t on all the drawstring pants don’t know if I would rock those or not but every other item I have and I’ll wear them interchangeably with my different luxe love the channel will definitely be a subscriber from now on
As an older man (51) that hasnt dressed in anything but Levis and Dickies. Ive followed your style and may I add turn a different type of head now. You are appreciated Big Bro thanks and keep up the great help.
Got my attention from the very first tip. I swear I could wear dress boots (or just boots in general) every damn day. If I can say one thing about 2020, it allowed me to find the style that fit me. Minimalistic + monochromatic + boots all day.
Great suggestions OG, I have the boots, beanie in 3 colors, messages bag, casual hoodies, grown man sneakers and an overcoat. I’m a New Yorker (South Bronx) and trust I dazzle the ladies here in SC when I step out the house. Keep doing your this Sir ✊🏾👍🏾👊🏾
For bags I recommend a Saddleback Leather Front Pocket backpack or their Flight Bag. Just got back from a trip and that backpack was my workhorse. Used it nonstop and it handled everything really well.
Hey Jeff, great info which I needed to finish my wardrobe. There were some things I thought I would not try but thanks to you I've changed my mind. You changed my mind about hoodies, that's why I got a couple in the mail last weekend. Need help with the dark wash denim. Saaaaalute!
Great video O.G., the first thing you brought up was the dress boot!! I asked you about “Taft” some days ago!! I just ordered my first pair and looking forward to my new look in 2021!! Thx
Loved the brown brogue dress boots at the start of the video. I have a new pair of brown brogue Grenson “Fred” boots I’m going to start wearing more this year 👍
Excellent video, the only item from the video that I do not have in my wardrobe is the open collar shirt. I would suggest adding flannel shirts and belts to the list as they are required in finishing an outfit.
Great list O.G.! I'm 19 for 20. The only one I don't have in my style collection is the drawstring trousers, and I'll have to pass on those. I have to have a belt to support the weight of my EDC I keep in my waistband, and I don't leave home without it. As always, your list is on point. Keep the style list coming!
Love from Miami. YPro yes indeed, I have really enjoyed this look and style. Great work on the video. Now I have to get ready to hit the club again both this video in style and then Delta Parole - Wasted Music Video that I had watched before this again since every night out I rock out to it first goes stunnin smooth, motivated me to be the man tonight. What are any of you other beautiful peoples hit the club songs when we can again?
Great video and great advice Jeff! I bought my 1st pair of dress boots the Allen Edmonds Daltons and love them. I get so much attention wearing them. I am in the process of adding more chinos to my wardrobe and will add a few knot ties to my collection as well. I find myself nodding in agreement with your video and love the great advice you give.
Just purchased Dark Brown Double Monk Strap from Beckett Simonon. You recommended them so I plan on giving them a try. I'll let you know how they feel in a couple of weeks
All great ideas even if I don’t incorporate them all. One the best one here I like for style is the Shirt Jacket. I’ve been fortunate to have 2 different light wool dress pieces with matching Trousers and Shirt Jacket set in black and brown. What you choose to use for a shirt is completely versatile. But it’s also hard it seems to find nice Shirt Jackets.
New Year’s Eve.. I rocked a pocket watch(for aesthetic) and a nice rose gold watch with a leather band.. got complements a lot when I look at it.. in other words.. when you look.. they look too
Gotta say, the flair's there. New to the site but I will be rockin' with you going forward. To me, all the aforementioned are inclusive but it's always a plus to continuously accessorize and remain on point.
I'm in the process of reinventing myself. This channel helped me do so.I also share these videos with my sons & friends. Happy New year ,Looking forward to the hat Vid.
Gospel from the style guru himself! Got me some essentials already, 2021 must be fly! I thought a good head dress should make your essentials lists too... Panama caps are really cool.
Jeff, I can't agree more with the choices on this list. My go to item for 2021 is definitely the light sweater. Though I live in Florida, I have already made use of shawl neck and plain cardigans, and we're barely out of January. Thanks for the great tips!
As always a bang up job Sir. I have almost everything you spoke on except the shirt jacket/overshirt and knit tie. Keep putting out this great content good Sir. It is always worth the wait...
Style OG, thank you brother. I have been watching these videos for a couple of months now. I have picked up some very helpful fashion tips that my wife loves. When a person looks and feels good about themselves, everyone wins!!
Thank you for this I was looking for something to dress our Kings in and you have given me a verity of selections to choose from. Working with young ladies was easy but to dress a young male is different. However your selections are classic and will stand the test of time. Again thank you...
I agree with the wool beenie/watch hat as well. Check out the flat cap too. Brad Pitt's go to...he makes it look cool. Maybe his cool will rub off on me hahaha.
U spot on bro. I've got 100% of every Item you talked about in this presentation including the open collar shirt. Just make sure you r working out @least 4 times a week to look good in all of these essentials....Hey what about the Timbos?? Another must have for every man.

I think you nailed this list.
Thanks Chris !

Recommending Sean John shirts.
