Totally random but I just stumbled on this video and I got hired from the same audition you were at! So I was one of the 20 left at the end with you! I got a call that said they had cast everything for cruise line but offered me full time at wdw :)
This is super interesting, I really enjoyed hearing about your experience. Mine was actually totally different to this because my original audition was the year before and there was no dance call!! You've totally inspired me to share my story too!!
Were you going in for a dance audition? I’m going for a vocalist audition, but it worries me that your audition seemed so dance heavy (unless it was a dance audition) because I’m not trained in jazz or ballet. I do have 10 years of vocal training though. :)
Hi! I’m going to audition to be a MainStage vocalist and I am just curious if you have any advice. Should I sing a Disney song? Also is there a weight requirement?
Hey there! My advice would be to sing a song that you feel represents your voice best, Disney or not. I would say try to pick a cut of a song that allows you to tell a story with your performance! If there is a particular role you’re thinking of, maybe choose a song that fits the style of that role. There isn’t a weight requirement 😊 best of luck and I hope you have fun at your audition!
