dont take me wrong pirate and them can brag all they want about the most expensive locker on you tube but they wont come close to profit like your $1 train locker.
That was totally exciting. Took my breath away and I’m here in my chair, I’m really glad I got to see the filming of this. By the way, I’m nuts for locker nuts.
The orange NES gun is legit original(not 3rd party)…just not the standard grey that came with the earliest launches of the console, as I understand it. I still have the same orange gun to go along with my original console.
That guy is a huge buyer and reseller of storage units!!! His youtube channel is Storage Auction Pirate ☠️ 30k is crazy amount of money for a storage unit. His eye 👁 must of caught something good with everything packaged 📦 nicely.
Hope you felt better when you saw the comps. , nice potential. Try not to dwell on the one you gave up on. I’m sure you’ll feel like that anyway as you’re such a positive person. Well done 👏👏👍🏻
Hello from Chiang Mai! Another great video for my breakfast! Superb live auction sale, it's true that the prices have skyrocketed! What about the locker ? Well, it's this type of locker that makes it possible to really appreciate the "Home run lockers"! Let's hope the next one will be one!
Nice intercooler kit for a turbo setup. My ex wife was from San Ramon. I'm from Walnut Creek. I graduated from Las Lomas High in 89. I live in So Cal now but that's my old stomping ground.
I hope Mike got his cha-ching out of that spendy locker. Janna, it was nice to see you keep Jack on the positive side. Yea, the locker wasn't great. Such as it is.
Hey Jack & Janna. The auctions were awesome. Couldn't believe the prices paid. The locker you bought was intriguing but not so hot... looking forward to the next one.
what have we learned today... aftermarket car parts are worth quite a lot of money and Nintendo NES isn't the most expensive stuff you found the gun is part of the NES and original congrats not a bad little locker after all ;)
i think you got a decent locker those car parts minus the old wheels that where put in the konig boxes will make you your money back mishimoto is a top dollar product and highly popular in the car tuning scene
just found your channel. do you know why they lost their locker? did you get all the details, the back story? just wondering since you are being very judge mental on how everything was in bad shape and how things weren't taken care of. i bought a home from a divorced couple who were still living in the same house but wanted to sell it, were desperate and would sell it any price and pay any closing costs just to get away from eachother. you know what i found in the closet? this huge, i'm talking HUGE frame of family photos of them. a huge collage. it was so heartbreaking. i asked my realtor is they wanted it..i was told to leave it outside and someone would drop by and pick it up. i have 2 storage units now, 20x30's, i hope i never lose them. they are my life.
He is just stating facts about the condition of the items. He is pretty compassionate and often shares basic details about the person's back story if he knows it. He will return personal items to the previous owner as well.
@@David-uq2uk even if there would be goods for 50k, it is still would not be reasonable to gamble on boxes. I understand when people are buying units to triple their profits or even more, or to find treasures in cheap lockers. But here it could be even a big loss. I did not see a car there or even a painting.
I used to have an auction arch-nemesis…the dude was at every auction that I attended and bid on everything that I bid on. I was bidding on a shotgun and bid him up to 18K and quit…another guy bid him up to 23K which was all of the money in that set.
Geez, if I paid 18k for a shotgun i would expect it to go out on it's own and do the hunting and processing of the animal and i just come home to cuts in the freezer 😭
#1 thing I've learned from stock trading is control your risk to reward. Just hard to believe over the long term that you can consistently make 100k on ANY locker and unless you are right more than 2 to 1...it just doesn't add up. So I'd be targeting the cheap ones. That doesn't mean just buying all the cheap lockers...it means buying wayyyyy less lockers, but ones just like this that sell way under normal prices even if it means sitting n my hands over n over.
Those units look staged too which would make me nervous. Handy how they'd have a desirable item sitting right out front to entice ppl. Imagine that 30k unit was picked thru & a bunch of empty boxes? I'd have such a hard time trusting the facilities.
Love you two, just nice genuine people. Nice to see you got rid of the ZZ Top and reverted to George Michael so it is progression at least and you look younger with less :)
even if it is full of collectibles still have to sell it to bring 30thousand back the effort and time to sell it alone to earn 30k makes the locker not worth it
That guy spending 30k had to have some idea of the items in the locker right?? I don't understand how you could spend that much looking at boxes if you don't know what is in there
@@David-uq2uk Its certain possible that he lost out, but this is more a calculated business risk than a bare gamble IMHO. As long as he has the capital to absorb a 30k loss, the upside of this locker is worth 30k IMHO. Hard to breakdown the probability distribution of the value with any real precision, but it almost certainly has a hard skew right with a long tail. He may just as well have made 80k. We don't know what information he may have had while bidding that we don't have. Risk involved still, to be sure, but risk, when well managed, is an integral and healthy part of all business.
That guy is Mike from Storage Auction Pirate & he does gamble if what's he's seeing looks like great stuff. He also knew from the last auction the place had they sold off half the person's units & they were great lockers. This was the other half of that lady's units. She was a trust fund baby & the money dried up. She was a shopaholic. You check the guy out,he's friends with Jack & I love the guy as well as his videos.
So funny hearing you complain about this locking and saying you paid too much, but we see how much the car parts and storm candle holders are worth. If you sell, you have definitely got some profit there
When you have digital content creator funds to use as a backup to gamble with, why not blow $30k for footage and to talk about it on videos for the next 5 years, right? Just brings in more digital content creator funds from Facebook
@@LockerNuts Growing up on a potato farm in Idaho I know the smell of rotten potatoes all to well. Thankfully I haven’t found any in lockers. It blows my mind what people put in storage.
Yes, this looks like another sad story. People think they can have a real life and do drugs, too. Whether the person is doing it for "recreation" or they're under a Doctors care it's all the same. fatory wheels some Dealerships will buy them to make the car stock again, could get $100, as a car guy "not much value here" Mishi and AEM is worth more than the storage even resale.

Well that said you got the best locker of all time for $1 ONE DOLLAR!
Yep train lockers .that was great. Right time right place .
Finding Mishimoto and AEM parts is sweet. High end performance upgrades from the car racing scene. Easily money back in this one.
WOW! Mike really gambled hard! Ought to be interesting to see what he finds.
Hope the boxes weren't empty for $30 thousand....
Just saying

the Snake is a 'door sock' prevents drafts from under the doors
Some NES zapper guns were orange because laws were passed around that time to make toy guns obvious they were toys.
@49:40 - SPACE CRUIZER YAMATO model!
The locker for $12K was just shoes! Glad you didn't get it.
Jack: "There's a bag full of happy right there!"
That Pelican sells for an easy 100$. Hope you got close to that! Love you guys!
Ya'll are such a great couple and family. I enjoy seeing each and every one of ya'll
Awesome show Thanks.
Subaru rims used go for $600 plus , Pelican case $150 plus
Woah. People spend WAY more money on stuff they don't even know what they're buying than I thought!
Easy money on the car parts and they're already all packed. Lots of Subaru owners crash into curbs and need a used rim.
I hope Mike got his cha-ching out of that spendy locker.

A muffler lol silly Billy 😜
I think the best thing I saw was Locker Nut T-shirt 😂😂
LOL
Unreal. Here we're always trying to seek out the $30-200 junkers. I don't think I've ever seen anything over 5k here in Texas
Roll big win big I guess. But yeah, you can win big on the junkers sometimes as well.

i just paid 2000 for a locker last week and almost got sick... your just a mad man lol
Those mishimoto parts are around $1000, the AEN intake is around $350, pelican case is close to $300. The Nintendo is around $50.
Jack,
I guess would should set up a go fund jack ,eh?

Been reselling since the 1970's but never been to a storage locker auction, maybe some day
Just out of curiosity, Jack, what is the most you have ever paid for a locker before this?
The most I've spent is $8k, and actually took a loss on that one. I've bid as much as $21k, but didn't win that one.
Those pelican cases are over $300 brand new
Stick to the crazy $1 lockers! much better ROI.
all the Nintendo Items are Original 80's not after Market

You should trick the girls and cats with the snake
shoulda had a snickers bar before opening this locker it seems
What price do you need for those dice that you found in that unit
The lady that owned these was on Hoarders … was sad but she wouldn’t get rid of or sell anything so she ended up losing everything.
Come on Locker nuts fake the excitement for us 😂
Sorry you didn't get the other locker.😢
