  • An in-depth look at a used 2018 BMW i3 Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) outfitted with the Tera World Package, Harman Kardon, Technology and Driver Assistance, Wireless Apple CarPlay, optional 20” wheels, and the Park Assist Package. The i3 is radically different than almost every other car on the road and I explore why that is and what makes this car so unique.

You should try the turn radius of a smart 453, it will run inside loops on the i3. Its kinda fun that you call the i3 a small city car, its really not small, small is a smart at 270 cm ( I love the smart 453, but i am actually in the process of switching to an i3 Rex)

Does it have Android auto ? and if so which models do ?

Not from the factory, but you can retrofit i3’s with an aftermarket module to enable Android Auto (and wireless Apple CarPlay) even if yours didn’t come with it originally.

How is it sustainable to have a frame that gets totaled in an accidental in a heartbeat?

The frame is the exact same material that is in F1 formula race cars. Unless you’re driving over 200mph then you’re not going to die in a BMW i3

So if you're in the backseat, in a crash, and the driver is unconscious, ... can you open the "rear" door ?

    • @MichaelDrivesOfficial

You cannot open the rear door without first opening the front. In this situation the back passengers are in a similar circumstance as those in a 2-door car.

@@MichaelDrivesOfficial ok, that's what I thought. Not great to have the doors there but be unable to open them and die burnt inside the car if ever fire happens.
