    "Deep dive " - these words got their true value and definition with your presentation. . Awesome. . 👌

    I like a good deep dive. I learned that the default in the client settings is to wait 7 days to deploy an application.

    • @PatchMyPC
      @PatchMyPC  3 года назад

      That doesn't sound right, what policy are you taking about? The deployment would happen at the deadline.

      @@PatchMyPC Administration, Client settings, software deployment, schedule re-evaluation for deployments, occurs every 7 days effective 2/2/1970 3:00 am
      We have a custom config that's changed to "occurs every 10 minutes effective 11/3/2020 9:21 am".

    After all your advice setting up the program config manager 2022, creating the SCCM push account I could not get software to install until I went back to an admin account that we had created with more permissions. I can get you that level permissions later but it was interesting being in the WMI explorer and it wasn't until I added the admin permissions that I saw the application on the right side because until then it was blank.
    What I am experiencing is that the application does start to download in software center but it never gets past zero. It never installs and it never shows up in the CCM cache.
    I have a network connection, the content is available and will show in the deployment window under monitoring. The firewall settings for the clients have been tweaked in GPO, but not sure how to know if the distribution point is healthy? Client cach equals 25 GB and was set via the policy settings that you can set for a variety of things. That policy was pushed out to all of the computers and the laptops. If you have any ideas let me know please

    Thank you so much sir for this video. what are the logs we need to check on server before an application is distributed or deployed?

    • @PatchMyPC
      @PatchMyPC  6 лет назад

      None, you could just verify the content is distributed.

    How do i know what to search for in the logs.? The logs are really complex and i find my self searching blindly.

      Sometimes it can just take practice of going through them to know how to ignore the noise.

    How do you copy the deployment id? Ok, I chose to show the deployment id column. Control c copies the whole line. Just paste the line and then copy only the deployment id after that?

    • @PatchMyPC
      @PatchMyPC  3 года назад

      Yeah, paste elsewhere and just copy the ID

    hi sir justine, thank you for this great video, but i have 1 question out of this topic but still SCCM question, how do i remove or delete applications from my "software center"
    i already deleted them from config manager, but still they are still showing in my software center,
    already did retire the application, remove its deployment, and deleted it, now how to remove in software center? because it is still showing in my software center, thank you in advance :)

      This should happen at the client policy cycle.

    Hello,
    I am currently looking for CAS, CTM, DTM logs .
    For CAS.log I see we can get the contentid from deployment types, my question is how to track the same in CTS and DTS logs ?

      Hope you figured this one out. Sorry for the delay this is a little but too complex to try to resolve on comments. The Microsoft docs for ConfigMgr can often be a great resource.

    Dear Sir, I have unique problem, I have checked each step of your vdo with my environment, everything is working fine till the last step "App enforcement completed (1 seconds) for App DT " , so the application is being installed but in Software Center it hangs on "Waiting to apply changes" , when check via WMI Explorer i can see that installed Status is Installed,
    If i restart the smsagent Service on the client PC , then software center shows that the application is installed.
    I have checked every post on the net and have not found any solution,
    Post checking ur vdo i feel it is the "SCClient" not getting the state messages , need ur help, Thanks Hasan Reza
