I watch these types of videos because it's much better than TV. It's real life. I get to see you grow and make your dreams a reality. I mean, I remember when you had that mobile home moved there, so I've been able to watch the transformation from the start. You are building the life you want for yourself. What is there about that not to watch?
I’m sure that each job that you accomplish is so exciting for you. It’s exciting for us to watch you get so much done. We are cheering you on with every step!😊
Haha My back started hurting all over again while I was editing it, just watching the climb up and down that ladder! Glad I can store it away for a while!
Well done. This month I plan on replacing the overhead lights in my manufactured home. My former husband gave me a ladder for Christmas.... Awesome! (No more trying to balance on a kitchen stool. )I I love my home.
I think 48 times. My God I think you need a nap now. Good job. Thanks for sharing. I love hanging out with you. Take care my friend. Stay safe and stay warm ✌️🇺🇸🥰
It's too easy to get the fall pulls mixed up. So in my house, I've made one pull just noticeably shorter than the other on each fan (there are five). My reasoning is that I'm more likely to change the speed of the fan (longer pull) than I am to turn the light (shorter pull) off or on. Makes sense to me anyway and I never have to guess which pull is which.
oh thats a great idea! I do leave the fan running all the time, so really only need to pull the light to turn it on/off. I thought Id hang some pretty thing on the light to tell me the difference. Im now second guessing that cuz I have 3 cats constantly eying that fan like they are planning an attack! LOL
Hello! Dot here from Northeast Louisiana. It’s been awhile since I last “talked” with you. You, as you know, was one of my inspirations for purchasing my new-to-me home. The NextUp Project List continually changes. It’s come a long way since May 1st. The one thing I have not yet tackled is electricity-type things. Much admiration for you overcoming any fear you may have had. Thanks for all you share.
Hi Dot! So glad you stopped by and that you're finding inspiration! It's so much fun to see how everyone is progressing with their own homes! electricity isnt all that hard for doing outlets and lights. Just make sure you shut the power off!!
I would have painted around that fan area before putting up the fan, save a few steps. Lol that's just me. But I too have to take down a fan in order to paint bedroom ceiling. Ah hahaha
I know! I thought of that too but wanted to make sure it was up and running before the cold hit, plus I am terrible at painting so I have to be very strategic with my painting haha. There will be a new faux beam right around where the fan is so Im hoping I can still paint around the fan, but not when its 10* outside!
Ha! I got 37 on the 🪜 😅 YaHooo, you got it! Is it turning the correct direction for winter?!?! "Usually" the long chain is for the light (so you can find it in the dark!!!) and the short one is the fan/speed. Good job! We got 5-6 inches in my neck of the woods in Oklahoma. Stay warm, again, good job! 😊 Kathy!!!
Good to know on those chains! yes I have it spinning opposite direction for winter so hopefully the heat will be pushed back down into the room. We got 7" here and its still not melted at all 2 days later. They are now calling for more snow next week so it looks like I will be stuck at home for a few weeks haha
I’m trying to get inspired to clean my closet out and paint my bedroom. Decluttering my house this year! Keep up the good work Ann Marie! You inspire me.
Go for it! Ive been working up the inspiration to move my desk from the bedroom out to the dining area. Havent got the gumption yet...maybe tomorrow haha
Love following you on your everyday life Journey. Made me chuckle at the end when you said that…. Did ya ever hear the saying when someone wanted to be right up in your buisness “ that one’s like a fly on the wall “ Well Annmarie buzzzzzzzzz 😂😂😂❤
Normally yes, but it was 10* outside and not a good time to be painting when your house isnt fully insulated LOL. Hopefully all will get painted in the spring. more ladder time though sighs.
I'm glad your got your fan in and didn't have to return this one. I know I asked before, but I don't understand where the bathroom is going to go. Isn't your bed right next to the wall your going to build?🦋🦋❤❤🦋🦋❤❤🦋🦋❤❤
Hello! I know its been a while since I demo'ed the bathroom so it is confusing! The bathroom will be the 5ft by 8 ft space between the two bedrooms. essentially it will be the 5ft space where you see cardboard on the wall right now and will extend 8 ft out. Right now the master bedroom, bathroom and 2nd bedroom are all one space because I demo'ed all the walls
You amaze me - it's amazing what one determined senior lady with back problems can accomplish when she puts her mind to it. You go girl.
Thanks, If I dont do it, it wont ever get done! LOL
No one could ever look down on you Ann Marie!
Aw thanks for the kind words

Aw thank you so much. You're right, watching other people's journey is a much more interesting way to spend my time.
I love your tenacity! 😊 Yes, it is a blessing to see improvement. Stay warm.
Thank you!
I’m sure that each job that you accomplish is so exciting for you. It’s exciting for us to watch you get so much done. We are cheering you on with every step!😊
Thank you so much! The work is exhausting, but worth it in the end!
Well, I started out counting the times up and down the ladder but soon lost count!! Made my leg muscles hurt just watching - LOL!
Haha My back started hurting all over again while I was editing it, just watching the climb up and down that ladder! Glad I can store it away for a while!
I'd never look down on you....I most certainly look up to you. You have accomplished so much!! Keep warm
Aww that means a lot. I'll try to stay as warm as I can!

I think 48 times. My God I think you need a nap now. Good job. Thanks for sharing. I love hanging out with you. Take care my friend. Stay safe and stay warm ✌️🇺🇸🥰
I definitely napped the next day and took a few days off for my back to recover!
I think you are awesome. My 7yr old great grandson watching with me. Thank you, God bless you.

@BigDreamsTinyBudget your 100% right, was not thinking. Lol
I counted 41 but who knows it was a lot and that latter looks very uncomfortable to stand on for any lengh of time.😀😁
it definitely was uncomfortable! each step I take on it messes up my SI joint :( Im glad to have it packed away for a while!
Your a real trooper, and its looking really nice in there😊
I'm glad your got your fan in and didn't have to return this one. I know I asked before, but I don't understand where the bathroom is going to go. Isn't your bed right next to the wall your going to build?🦋🦋❤❤🦋🦋❤❤🦋🦋❤❤

I am stupified at all the things you can do. You have really gotten good at DIY.
That comes from years of having no extra money to hire someone LOL
