Trying to love or even understand someone with all of their beautiful flaws and intricacies, while we cope with our own, is not easy. It is as delicate and cold as it is proud and belligerent. "The Bird" represents this surreal dance. If we are too gentle, it might get away. But if we hold on too tight, we might suffocate it.
This is a life lesson I am trying to learn everyday.

HOLYYYYY THE BEAT IS INSANE!!!!
Let's not exaggerate now... it is roughly alright (not impressive nor "insane" in caps), but there are many songs with truly amazing beat.. such as: "End of my days" (Michael Schulte), "Firestone" (Kygo), "Infinity" (Jaymes Young), "Empire" (Of Monsters and Men), "Love Live On" & "Run" (RHODES), "Natural" (Imagine Dragons) --- and these to name just a few, they are from a playlist I listen often, but I am sure there are many more out there.. From my perspective (I do consider myself a huge fan of SYML), SYML would better smooth the odd sounds and the beat to his wonderful, angelic voice (and never ever create something so abrasive as "clean eyes").

First second had me entranced, first verse had me losing all tension. How do you make music this good, Brian?
I don't understand how this does not appear in your top songs on Spotify. This is by FAR your best song.
I used to dance growing up, eventually I quit because I spiraled into a deep pit of depression that I'm just now slowly starting to crawl out of. This song speaks to both my battle with my own mind (especially the second verse, lyrically speaking) and my passion for dance as I would love to dance to this, if I'm ever fortunate and strong enough to regain the courage and pleasure to do so. This is one of those songs that stay with you once you've come across them, at least it is for me. Thank you for making it.
I just keep listening to this song and each time it's as if I've never heard it. It's so magical and entrancing and I can't stop listening to it. It's mysterious and beautiful and so special that each time it's an unfamiliar, eerie memory.

wow. your voices sounds so different; so much more smooth and gentler? it has an even more ethereal vibe to it. i’m not sure i’m explaining this well, but i feel like i’m being wrapped in silk. the beat was unexpected and a bit contrasting, but it didn’t take attention away from anything. everything was perfectly balanced and harmonious. i’m only halfway through this song as i write this, but what a magical time it’s been so far. thanks for sharing, brian. much love.
i’m not big on having music on repeat, but wow. i had to replay it just once. this is exactly what i want to be listening to at 12:18 AM after an extremely long day. i pre-ordered the album the second you announced it. i absolutely cannot wait to hear what’s in store for us.
