That instrument that starts playing is the Suona, which is traditionally used during funerals and weddings, and also in general to demonstrate a huge amount of emotion. Which is very appropriate for a character who just wants to die and cannot.
Kafka's trailer is still my number 1 favorite from Star Rail. I love how they used Vivaldi's winter for it and the visuals are so cool too. Sparkle, Dr. Ratio, HuoHuo and Argenti are my other favorites.

I would have agreed with you pre Sparkle but now she has the best one not by much but most people me included believe so not to mention its much higher quality aswell. And I agree people should watch the older stuff first especially Pre Luocha stuff the quality skyrockets after his trailer.
It's just the hype about a new character. Kafka is a masterpiece of a trailer, sparkle is fine, but another harley queen? no, thanks. Kafka is much better.
If you really like Jingliu's trailer with that beautiful music you should check out the animated short. In fact all the HSR animated shorts are exceptionally beautiful with great music.
Sparkle is definitely hoyos favorite Char She has 3 trailers and you missed 2 short animation trailer A Moment Among the Stars - "Sparkling Tricks" and Myriad Celestia Trailer - "Sparkle: Behind the Curtain" she has the best trailer

Not a good order to watch these in. These trailers get better over time so watching them backwards they just get worse overtime from that perspective.

Yes, most of the HoYoverse playlists are like this, I also recommend playing them from bottom (old) to top (newest).
