I wouldn't recommend making something to hook directly to the blade. If you do this, it will not let the blade trip forward if it needed to. It will wreck your winch and break your cable. You would basically be putting all the force of the blade tripping right into your winch. Hope that makes sense!
Thanks for this. I have that pulley but the issue I am having is when the line is slack it keeps getting jammed between the pulley and the bracket beside it.
I have the 2022 cforce 800xl with a snowplow. I've broke stainless steel cable more than once, kinked the hell out of it too. I finally changed to rope so I am not putting too much stress on the frame and plow linkage. I'd rather it break easy and not do damage if it came to me pushing the up button too long which I seem prone to do. rope is easy to retie if it breaks. However, I continue to watch these videos to see if there is a good fix out there. The engineers for these machines didn't think this problem through very well. I keep hoping.

This link to another video of mine is what fixed my breaking cable issue...ruclips.net/video/TYbcfuH74W8/видео.html
Thanks brother. Cheers
A close up and some light would be nice.
