One of my all time faves too and I'm loving it even more as time goes by! Hear what you're saying about more people hearing it but personally I seem to care less and less about how big an artist is or how many have heard it. If I was the lone soul that likes something, that's good enough for me. I do believe however that most true UFO Fans have heard this!
By far the best album ever by UFO. Intellegent, meaningful, insightful lyrics by Phil. The band in top form, some of my all time favorite MS playing with heartfelt solos.....
It always makes me wonder what they could have accomplished if they put their issues besides themselves and made more albums after this. Looking forward to seeing MSG this week where he plays a bunch of UFO tunes.
1:59 - 2:18 is just such a beautiful part of this great song. The most underrated rock band of all time in my opinion. Phil Mogg is one of the best vocalists of all time.
Great album and solos, but if I had to choose one solo to call it "best" it would have to be "Only You Can Rock Me"... the live performances are even better
I always forget how badass this album is, don't wanna listen to much to it so I never get tired of it 🙏 Probably Top 5 best album ever, alongside Racer X Technical Difficulties (1999) Van Halen II (1979) The Police (can't choose one single album, holy fuck) Aaaaah this is so hard, can't choose 🤣🤣🤣
it's not a coincidence that AC/DC when they were starting out they were chosen to be the openers for UFO on the road... the Godfathers of great Blues Rock 🤘🤘🙏
@FeelingShred Your absolutely correct. There is likeness between those 2 songs. 12 notes, yes, but the permutations and combinations are practically endless!
Venus......this song touched me as the first time I heard it my wife/partner of 8 years left me and passed on. I went on a 6 month tare this song was part of the sound track to my libatious grieving sessions . I didn't feel so alone it helped carry me through the dark time. I'm 60 yrs old and thought this was it for me I'd spend the rest of my days alone......but DAMN the good Lord sent me a beautiful young lad with ivy League Smarts. We both love this song!
How can you top this rock track?.
It's got everything...
Absolutely dynamic, melodic, powerful and beautiful guitar.
Its in its own league entirely
One of my favorite albums of all time. I only wish that more people could have heard this.
Mr. Michael Schenker
Mr. Pete Way

Michael Schenker is a badass guitar player. He lays down some blistering runs in this song. The outro solo is otherworldly
Agree!

Don't think there is a better Schenker solo. He is on fire on this album.
Don't put the blaze out....lol !
Rock Bottom has a better solo
I know what you mean.

anyone that knows what "UFO Venus" is, is someone that I will consider a Close Friend for Life 🤘Rock never died 🤘cheers

Totally fine, you don't need to choose any specific order. Just love them all!
How did this 80,s rocker slip by me.....This song rock!!
Recorded in the 1990s. An absolute GEM.
1995!
Simplemente....de otro mundo!!!.
WHAT A BAND ...! EPIC .!

My life is in Venus’s hand at the moment. I just don’t care anymore
..a little like "run to you" by bryan adams.. :)
LOL!!!!! That's funny......Bryan Adams????? Good God are you mixed up!!!. Adams not even in the same category as these gents!!!
@@christianlewis6252 ask phil or michael aboute that.. :)
it's a simple 3-chord progression... coincidences are bound to happen... there are only 12 musical notes after all 🤘

Michael and his (good) vice for Outro Solos 🤘🤘🤣🤣killer holy fuck
What a superb masterpiece...
Man this was a great album. Venus is classic UFO. Not the best packaging but brilliant
