Hey just fyi this table is no longer being made by flexispot… they sold it to Arrow and they’re selling it under the name Eleanor for more than double this price! Hope this doesn’t constitute grinchmas talk. Love your channel!
The review is great! What stood out to me, more than anything else was the way you presented it. Your voice, very calm and cheerful. No attempt to pretend you didn't make any mistakes. Your voice, just loud enough to hear, yet not shouting. You shared honest, objective observations. It was such a pleasure to listen to. The time flew by and when it was over, I couldn't believe that much time had gone by. You have such a cheerful demeanor.....thank you!
Wow, thank-you for reviewing the table. I am thinking of getting one as soon as I have the money needed. I love the idea of standing! I do not enjoy sitting so look forward to standing! Thank-you again!
Love all 💕 your ideas. I'm in the process of buying a sewing table, due to small room . I'm glad came across your channel and I just subscribed. God bless and Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas, and New Year.
I just went ahead and got the sewing table for myself after watching your video. Thank you for sharing how you put it together and how you feel about it. Also, for the ideas of stopping the vibrations. I don't think I would have bought it without your video. :)
Love your courage to assemble a new item and record it. I want to do a video on getting embroidery files from a tablet to the machine. I forgot about doing a voice over. I have used it on motorcycle repair but do forgot about this method. This looks like great table and the height adjustment could be an answer to my table alignment. I have we to put blocks under the legs to get the height I need. Thanks. You did a great video.
*_John -you should totally do a video on embroidery files...I know alot of people don't know how to do stuff like that...my mom knows sooooo much about it but she doesn't do videos🤷🏻♀️_*
Thank you for the review, I have been in the market lately for a table as well and I really didn’t even begin to know how to compare tables between prices and features. Your review was very well done and very much appreciated.
*So glad it helped Trey I have been researching for about a year now and I just couldn't warrant spending thousands of dollars on a table. When I came across this table...it had way more than I was looking for (i.e. the hydraulic system for standing). And the price was incredible....and the table ended up matching expectations. win win! *
Thank you for a great review. The price has gone up but the value of this table is really good. I am looking into buying one now. thank you for sharing your information on the vibration. I ordered one today and can't wait to try it. thank you
Tracy, I'm so happy you demo'd the table. Yes, easy to assemble, no problem with vibration as I've got carpet. I did put moving disks under the feet so I can move it in and out to clean. Very comfortable to sew with and the height adjustment is crazy cool. I go up and down frequently. Standing also helps the fatigue that sets in, I'm able to sew longer. I'm quilting now and the extention plus width of the table is a plus. I put 2 long tables on each side shaping area as a horseshoe and it levels perfectly when I use tables for cutting and ironing. I'm so happy I watch your channel, I've learned many things. Doing your quilt along now also. I'm not a muscle memory gal, took piano 3 years however the left and right couldn't sync. 🤪 I'm using templates until I get the sequences down. Have done ribbon candy quite well now though. I'm thankful to you.☺️ Jillaine
Wow thank you for sharing Jillaine💛 I'm so glad it's working for you. I too, love the ease of the up and down on the table ✅ Keep practicing your FMQ...it will get better and easier💛
Thanks so much for this great review of the Flexispot table. I'm going to order one later today after I take some measurements to make sure it will fit in my tiny room. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!
Tracy. You are fearless! Putting together, from the box, on camera!!! Great video. And I adore your cute slippers. Fun to see you wearing what you created last week. Wonder and joy to you and your loved ones this Christmas 🎄.
*_Thank you for all of your kind feedback Robin!💛I don't think I've ever been called fearless before LOL....thank you! Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones as well🎄_*
Oh my goodness! Just what I wanted at a reasonable price. I have an Arrow Wallaby cabinet I purchased earlier in the year that just doesn’t suit me or my space.. All my research for adjustable sewing tables resulted in expensive tables or DIY projects (modified desks or workbenches). I’m definitely checking this out. Thank you for the review.
Wow! You did a really good job reviewing the table! You showed exactly the kind of stuff I like to see: I like to see people putting it together and I like to see what mishaps happen along the way so that when I go to put mine together I don’t have to make the same mistakes! They may not be sponsoring you but they should be because you did such a good job and it’s gonna make people want this table! Plus those were very practical suggestions you gave for reducing the vibration by using the packing materials; that’s something like I would do! 🙂🌷
You can go to like Walmart and get that clear vinyl to put over your styrofoam it'll make it slippery for your material to go over it Just a suggestion it's cheaper then expansion table thank you for your videos and have a great day
Santa was very, very good to you, Tracy!!! 🎅🏻🎄😊 Unfortunately, my sewing/quilting machine is too heavy for the max. platform capacity (26 lb.). Major bummer! Otherwise, this was a perfect size sewing table for my small sewing/craft room. Will have to keep looking. Enjoy your new sewing toy!!! Merriest of Christmases to you and your family!
Great table! Why couldn't you remove the foam piece and move the machine to the left and have the open space to the right? Then you could put containers with notions in that space. Then you wouldn't need the acrylic insert. Just a thought. But again, great table and very good review. 👍
*_Great question Dorene...I did try it that way first but then I wouldn't have as much room on the left for dealing with larger quilts and such. It "felt" more natural to have it pushed to the right✅Hope that makes sense...💛_*
I So Wish I had caught this video earlier!! I've been searching for a sewing table exactly like this for a Long Time! It seems that this table is not available now. Not on their website or anywhere else either. I'm so bummed!! Guess I'll be back to my DIY table now. It's so rediculous how much they charge for some of these things!! It is an unattainable price point for MOST PEOPLE!! I wish someone would make a great modular sewing table/cutting/room system that we could create/order/build for a fair price!
Jillaine.....my table was from Flexispot✅ I now use mine for both a cutting table and sewing machine table...versatile for sure. I love the height adjustment feature...makes things easy✅
The sewing light that is shown in your video, what is the name, model number, is it good. This is so exciting and very interesting. The desk is now $429, still a good price for what you get. Thank you.
Thank you so so much for this video. I have been wanting one for a while but like you did not want to spend alot of money. Thank you. I am a new subscribers to your channel and so enjoy your channel.
Sewing stuff is so expensive anyways… So to find this table at a good price was worth ✅ I know a lot of us are on a budget too -every little bit helps!
This is an outstanding review! I'm floored by the information, how it works, and the price. I subscribed to your channel as I'm sure there is more for me learn here. My only concern is how much weight it will hold. The site said 26 pounds and my Jazz 2 is 27.5. But I do like this table, and I have many machines. I'm most impressed that you can stand and sew. I get tired of sitting. Thank you!
Thank you Jeri for the kind feedback 💛 my Brother 1350 is 21 pounds. The limit is 26 so I’m not sure if your machine will work. Maybe you could call the company and talk with them to make sure. Thanks for subbing ✅
Hi! I’m a huge fan and have followed you for quite a while. So, i had been debating on the Janome HD9 and the Juki TL 18. After watching your video I’m going for the Juki. I’m wondering if you have put your new Juki on this table. Do have another table for your Juki? I’m thinking about purchasing one. Would love to hear your thoughts! ❤
Go for the Juki for sure❣️ I've used my Juki on every table I have. Be sure to use my affiliate link so you get a free gift with your sewing machine❤️ jukijunkies.com/?ref=TheSewingChannel
Great video and the table is a reasonable price. I wonder if I could cut patterns on it. Would the sewing machine part get in the way? 🤔 Also Ikea has an adjustable table that's about 100+ dollars cheaper- it's not a sewing table but it may work out all the same.
This is a good point. So the sewing machine does not lower beneath the cabinet when it’s not in use like some sewing machine cabinets do? When it was originally mentioned that it had hydraulics that’s what I was thinking. But the only height adjustment showed in the video was the table going up and down; not the sewing machine going up and down. And do you mean that there is an insert that comes with it to fill up the hole where the sewing machine is? Because this is a great idea to also use it as a cutting table, especially because it’s height adjustable. I like countertop height for cutting things out; regular tables are just too low.
At my age I will keep useing the six sewing machine tables I already have. However, a table that I may adjust the height of would be wonderful. Janet H. has one that she can adjust the height and slant of the table top. I can not see any reason not to have a level sewing table top. How did you get your table upright? I can not see you doing it by yourself. When I was a typing teacher, we used thick carpet padding (cut to the proper size) under typewriters (to hold down sound and to keep the typewriters from moving while being used.) Carpet padding would make good, long lasting, sound and movement reduction for sewing machines as well.
@@TheSewingChannel I own seven sewing machines. Six of my sewing machines are vintage. My Bernia is my modern machine. I love my old Singers the best. I use my Singer 301 the most. All of my sewing tables are made of wood and are vintage. I started buying old wooden sewing tables after my sister wanted one (and none could be found to buy). Three of my sewing tables have their sewing machines still in them. People do not value these old sewing machines and tables anymore. One of the tables was given to me with it's fifty-five year old machine still in it. All seven of my sewing machines still work; and, they were all built to last. However, most of these machines are heavy and not portable. Three of my sewing machines are portable (two are light weight Singers).
Awesome table I’ve been looking for one but I was like you they were so expensive. Could you tell me where do you get the insert. Thank you love your videos.
I haven't researched where to get the insert yet...I know there are a-lot of companies that do it. Try first at your local quilt shop and see who they use maybe? Thank you for watching💛
This video was incredibly helpful. Did you end up getting the acrylic insert? And where do you buy them? My bobbin loads from the side, so I am wondering how that would work with the insert. Thanks again!
Hi Suzanne...no I never did get one...check your local quilt shop for inserts...not sure where to send you... maybe google it because I know they make them all the time✅
Wow that looks awesome, and I wish I could find it. I went to the link you provided but I didn’t see it there. Even when I search with their search engine, it didn’t pop up. Got any suggestions on how to find it?
I'm not very tall and for my whole sewing life have been sewing with my nose just about level with the needle! I'm not even sure what my proper height would be. haha. I need something like this. Thanks for your review, it's made me think that perhaps there is a more comfortable way to sew.
*_Sue...I was sewing all wrong for years...my shoulders and arms would ache with fatigue. So once I researched a bit and realized what needed to change I vowed to find a more comfortable way for me...so far I've changed my chair and table and things are much much better!✅_*
Hi Tracy, I’m amazed over the price with all those attachments, too. Thank you for the review. After sewing with it for a while, if you have any other thoughts come to your mind, will you mention it please? I am hoping to re-do my sewing room next month (fingers crossed) and I haven’t figured out how to set up my machine and this table might be the ticket for me too. Thank you so much, Chris
Wow! Too bad I didn't know about this table last year when I purchased mine. I have the SewEzi table which I am happy with. It just was a bit pricey. I paid $550 including the insert.
*_Hi Tammy...was your SewEzi table height adjustable too so you could stand? *curious_*_ because I had never seen a stand and sew sewing table before...✅_*
Yes Lynne I am still using my adjustable table....But I like it more as my "cutting table" as I ended up purchasing a bigger table for my sewing machine....🤷🏻♀️
Hi Tracey, was wondering if you got the extention table for your machine. I bought the flexispot table and need to do something. If you bought one how did it work out.??
Hi Tracy, I saw your review of the Flexispot sewing machine table. I decided to buy it, but called the company to get further info about the acrylic insert to make a solid sewing surface. They don't have any info about that and told me to browse Amazon. Were you able to get an insert for your machine and where did you find it? Thanks, Sue Marling
Hi Sue...no I never did get an insert...maybe call you sewing machine dealer? I know outside dealers make them for all different kinds of sewing machines...I'm hoping someone sees your comment and can answer it for you. sorry I couldn't be more help.
Tape those tools and any extra screws to the underside of your table. You just never know when you might need them (Life is like that.) you can even place the assembly instructions in a ziploc bag and tape it to the underside, too
No ended up not needing it...I use this one for my cutting table mainly to do my youtube videos...makes it easy to show on camera because of the adjustablility✅
This sewing table seems to be just what I've been looking for. Unfortunately, for some reason, it's not listed on their website for sale. Any other places where I might be able to purchase this sewing table??
Other's have said the same thing about not being able to find it. so weird. I'm going to email the rep to find out what the issue is. Some have said they are sold out right now. I'll let ya know if I hear anything.✅
*_I'm not sure if they sell them....I have to do the research yet but there are a few companies out there that can customize them for any machine or table out there✅_*
@@TheSewingChannel Thanks. I have one for my current sewing table, though it doesn’t fit in the insert for it. Seems like one would merely need a small piece to fit in the gap-must as you’ve created, much smaller than the ones I’ve seen on the market. Hope you find a good solution. Thanks for the review!
Yes Glen✅I show you how I turn it backwards in my sewing hack video....it gives you way more control👍🏻 here is the link ruclips.net/video/yoKzjzHY4WQ/видео.html
Update, I have no vibration with my Janome S5. Love the table without having to use the extension tables for my sewing machine. I notice the difference in my posture the first week. Straighter seams too.
pls PM me or make me aware of a video.... I want to free motion with my machine at 90 turn... so I'm sitting with it at 90 degrees from where I am... like Ive seenyou have yours set up .... I can not see how to get an extension table for that set up.... help???

Thank you for the review. I’ve been looking for a sewing table, like you my sewing machine is in my face. I am definitely interested in this table!

Wow that looks awesome, and I wish I could find it. I went to the link you provided but I didn’t see it there. Even when I search with their search engine, it didn’t pop up. Got any suggestions on how to find it?
Some are saying it’s sold out. You could always call Flexispot. 🤷🏻♀️
, absolutely perfect table
*_I agree!✅_*
I'm not very tall and for my whole sewing life have been sewing with my nose just about level with the needle! I'm not even sure what my proper height would be. haha. I need something like this. Thanks for your review, it's made me think that perhaps there is a more comfortable way to sew.
*_Sue...I was sewing all wrong for years...my shoulders and arms would ache with fatigue. So once I researched a bit and realized what needed to change I vowed to find a more comfortable way for me...so far I've changed my chair and table and things are much much better!✅_*
Just a FYI, I think the foam that you are using is actually closed cell foam, (a flexible foam) rather than Styrofoam.
LOL 😂 I think you're right Tracey. After watching the video back I realized what I said. Thank you for the feedback💛
*_Yes...I will definitely keep you posted as I sew on it for awhile✅. Amazing price for sure🤓_*
First of all thanks for the review. I can't find the table? Am I doing something wrong
I think they are sold out....others cannot find either....try calling the company FlexiSpot✅
It is back in stock on their web site!😊
Wow! Too bad I didn't know about this table last year when I purchased mine. I have the SewEzi table which I am happy with. It just was a bit pricey. I paid $550 including the insert.
*_Hi Tammy...was your SewEzi table height adjustable too so you could stand? *curious_*_ because I had never seen a stand and sew sewing table before...✅_*
Thank you for this great video. Was wondering if you had an update in June. Are you still liking it? Would you still recommend it?
Yes Lynne I am still using my adjustable table....But I like it more as my "cutting table" as I ended up purchasing a bigger table for my sewing machine....🤷🏻♀️
@@TheSewingChannel What do you use now?
I bought one of those adjustable Husky work tables from Home Depot...✅
Hi Tracey, was wondering if you got the extention table for your machine. I bought the flexispot table and need to do something. If you bought one how did it work out.??
No I didn't end up getting one Janice...been sewing without it🤷🏻♀️
Sadly, I emailed the company about this table 2 weeks ago and they said they had discontinued it and weren’t bringing it back
That is sad. Others have said the same to me...It's a great table...not sure why they would discontinue it🤷🏻♀️
Hi Tracy, I saw your review of the Flexispot sewing machine table.
Great review, I can’t figure out which one you purchased from the link you provided. Does it have a specific name or model number?
Hi there. There is only 1 sewing table that they sell. ✅
@@TheSewingChannel - link for me comes up with 404 Error then when I type in sewing table or adjustable sewing table it doesn’t come up.
Oh wow. I did a search and it looks like they are sold out. Maybe call the company “Flexispot” to see when they will be back in stock✅
@@TheSewingChannel thank you, I bet that’s why it didn’t come up
That’s crazy if they are sold out🤷🏻♀️
Tape those tools and any extra screws to the underside of your table. You just never know when you might need them (Life is like that.) you can even place the assembly instructions in a ziploc bag and tape it to the underside, too
Such a great idea! I'm gonna totally do that Joan! Thank you!💛
Tracy.... did you find insert for flexispot?
No ended up not needing it...I use this one for my cutting table mainly to do my youtube videos...makes it easy to show on camera because of the adjustablility✅
This sewing table seems to be just what I've been looking for. Unfortunately, for some reason, it's not listed on their website for sale. Any other places where I might be able to purchase this sewing table??
Other's have said the same thing about not being able to find it. so weird. I'm going to email the rep to find out what the issue is. Some have said they are sold out right now. I'll let ya know if I hear anything.✅
The product is discontinued.
Where did you purchase it from? Ive no luck finding it. Thank you
I bought it from Flexispot but evidently they are totally sold out...that's what others have been saying 🤷🏻♀️
So true
Interesting that Arrow has a table just like this one called the Eleanor. Price $799 😮 marked down from $1199 😮😮
Curious about the insert. Where are you getting it from?
There are several companies out there that make them custom✅I haven't done my research yet so I can't tell you where to get yours from...sorry.
Is the acrylic insert you referred to sold by Flexispot?
*_I'm not sure if they sell them....I have to do the research yet but there are a few companies out there that can customize them for any machine or table out there✅_*
@@TheSewingChannel Thanks. I have one for my current sewing table, though it doesn’t fit in the insert for it. Seems like one would merely need a small piece to fit in the gap-must as you’ve created, much smaller than the ones I’ve seen on the market. Hope you find a good solution. Thanks for the review!
Where would we find the acrylic insert for this table.
I have to do some research on it but I know that there are several companies out there that do it.✅
Foot pedal around the wrong way ? Glen
Yes Glen✅I show you how I turn it backwards in my sewing hack video....it gives you way more control👍🏻 here is the link ruclips.net/video/yoKzjzHY4WQ/видео.html
Can you use it to cut material if you take the sewing machine out?
Yes ✅
Update, I have no vibration with my Janome S5. Love the table without having to use the extension tables for my sewing machine. I notice the difference in my posture the first week. Straighter seams too.
Awesome!!! Thank you for the update Mighty Mouse20!🌸
Are you still liking this table 7 months later? Any cons?
Yes Sandi✅
Why not just push your machine up against the left hand side of the cut out edge of the table so it's flush with the tabletop without using the block?
Can I get the website to order it?
I think they are out of stock 🤷🏻♀️
I have multiple machines. How easy or difficult is this to change machines with different heights and plugs?
I think it's easy...not hard to change out....✅
Do you have a link for this table?
Here's the link to the company's website www.flexispot.com/height-adjustable-sewing-table
Thank you… I know what I’m getting for CHRISTMAS! Appreciate your review
@Teri Singleton you're welcome...happy to help ~Merry Christmas🎄
Thank you great review!!
Glad it was helpful!💛
Great video, thank you.
pls PM me or make me aware of a video.... I want to free motion with my machine at 90 turn... so I'm sitting with it at 90 degrees from where I am... like Ive seenyou have yours set up .... I can not see how to get an extension table for that set up.... help???
You may need a Juki in the TL series in order to turn your machine.
What is cost of it?
If I remember right....it was around $300✅
$469 now on their website. That’s more than I wanted to spend.
I got an email last week that these are discontinued now.
I did not know you home educated. I did for 19 years our 5 sons.
I bought the sewing table and craft table JoAnns had when I worked there closing one store while they opened a new one farther away.
I spent less than $200 cash. No debt.
Yes I homeschooled my last 2 children which are now in college✅
This product has been discontinued :(.
oh wow...thank you for letting me know...❣️
This table is now sold by Arrow for $1200. Good grief.
UGH!
Nope. I wanna be comfortable when I sew. I also have 4 bulging lumbar discs. Can't do it.
