One of my Fav bean combos is my tall sized sweater fleece under my tall size meds down jacket (a 2011) I should have bought medium rather than large, but the warmth and comfort is frustratingly perfect haha. I can’t seem to replicate it with any other combos. Again, I wished I’d have bought medium tall but somehow messed it up. LLBean is the real deal. If you haven’t tried them, you won’t be let down just make sure you buy the right size for the right piece. As in.. you want a base layer tight.. but you want a rain jacket a little baggy so you can layer under it. That kinda thing can really make life a lot easier.
I’m from New England and hike every morning before work. That means in the winter, I need something reliable to keep me warm. One staple that I live in all winter is the LLBean sweater fleece. For temperatures even as low as in the teens, all I wear is a long sleeve Bean dry wick tshirt, and Bean sweater fleece on top. This keeps me warm enough while going uphill, but it’s still breathable so I’m comfortable while generating heat. I wear them so much that I own 5 of them, but they get me through countless early morning winter hikes in CT.
I loved the spokeswoman who also nicely modeled the outfits. This has inspired me to visit Beans , been awhile but I remember how fun the store is. 😊
Love these outdoor tips. Sometimes I need a reminder. Thank you! for sharing.
