10 years Muziekpublique | Naragonia: les deux frères

Naragonia is één van onze beste bal folkgroepen, alom geroemd in binnen- en buitenland. Het handelsmerk van Naragonia is het samenspel van twee diatonische accordeons, al vervangt Pascale Rubens heel af en toe die accordeon voor een viool, en Toon Van Mierlo de zijne al wat vaker voor doedelzak, klarinet, sopraansax of uillean pipes. Sinds kort is Naragonia uitgegroeid tot een waar quartet met Wouter Vandenabeele op viool en Maarten Decombel op gitaar, mandola en mandoline. In deze video brengen ze een eigen compositie met de title "Les deux frères".
Naragonia is one of our finest folk music groups, well known in Belgium and beyond! Their trademark is the energetic duo of two diatonic accordions. From time to time Pascale Rubens also plays the violin and Toon Van Mierlo incorporates the uillean pipes, the soprano saxophone, clarinet or even the bag pipe into their repertoire. They are currently also working as a quartet with no one less than Wouter Vandenabeele on the violin and Maarten Decombel playing the guitar, mandola or mandolin. In this video Naragonia plays one of their own compositions entitled "Les deux frères".
Naragonia est sans nul doute l'un des nos meilleurs groupes folk. Ils sont aussi bien connus en Belgique qu'à l'étranger. Leur marque de fabrique on la retrouve dans l'énergie que transmet leur duo d'accordéons diatoniques. Par besoin de renouvellement constant, il arrive que Pascale Rubens joue au violon et que Toon Van Mierlo incorpore des Uilleann pipes, du saxophone soprano, de la clarinette ou encore de la cornemuse à leur répertoire. Le duo joint également ses forces à un quartet qu'ils forment avec le violoniste Wouter Vandenabeele et le guitariste Maarten Decombel ( guitare mandole ou mandoline). Pour A Song a Day, ils ont choisi de jouer une de leur composition intitulée « Les deux frères ».

für einen schottisch wärs mir ein wenig zu langsam. meiner Meinung nach. aber da er genauso wunderbar ist wie annns wals, und auch ein 4/4 wüsst ich genau was ich tanzen würde. keinen schottisch. :-) es ist ein wunderbares lied. wenn alles klappt bin ich auf der sommerbordunale. nur samstags und nur um einmal bei naragonia zu tanzen.

Gubagga - it's a scottish :-) but near the beginning there is a lot of 'breathing space' in it. If you wait through a few repetitions of the melody it will become clearer. Jx

hm...für enn schottish wärs mir ein wenig langsam. ich würd darauf tanzen. wüsst auch schon wie :-) ist die gleiche art von wunderbarer musik wie anns wals. wenn alles klappt wird ich naragonia auf der sommerbordunale sehen.... und tanzen :-) freu mich rießig drauf
