One night in the summer of 93 we snuck into the backyard of the house on Thompson Point in Beaconsfield QC where they were filming this movie, sat down and watched for almost an hour, awesome night to remember.
I’ve never seen it I’m currently watching it right now for the first time I just now got past the part where he played the game for the first time and cut that man’s foot off 😂
It’s like how every one says that the camera adds like 3 inches in height, Eddie looks younger because we see his full height in scale. He’s quite short and never really had much of a growth spurt either. I think IRL he’s about 5’5 but here he’s probably 5’1 or 5’2
Such a great blast from the past. I love this movie 🍿 I wore out my VHS copy. Edward Furlong is such a talented guy. He should have had more well- meaning people looking out for him. Watching John Tesh brings back memories too, I watched him on ET to get the latest scoop. Thanks for sharing. 👍
@@KenMabie thats because he was sexually molested by his onset tutor... she was 29 he was 14... they were together for years. look it up and then tell me why we shouldn't have protected him back then... he could've been so much more
Lmao. Molested by a 29 yr old woman when he was 14... I know that's wrong but when I was 14 I wouldnt of seen anything wrong with it. Lol. In fact It probably would have been a beneficial experience with life more than a "omg I was taken advantage of and it ruined my whole life" hahahahaha I mean c'mon.
This trailer down plays this movie. The kid in the movie had a traumatic experience that exposed him to violent imagery early and created that fascination with horror. He uses it to escape but then the escape becomes too real. it’s deeper than the trailer makes it seem.
So that’s why Edward Furlong was playing video games in the arcade in the terminator two! He likes video games. Did brain scan come out before terminator two judgment day?
We watched this on daredaniel.com part of our horror movie month and linked to this. Furlong is such a charisma-void daredaniel.com/2019/10/08/brainscan-podcast-movie-review/

It was filmed in Canada.

Beaconsfield QC is Quebec, Canada.
I loved this movie when I was a kid. My mom would rent it for me from the local video store, ah the 90's!

I used to rent it too. Saw it on Showtime, then bought the VHS. Still have it. A great 90s b-movie.
Me too ! 🤣 Ahh, memories
From the top of the charts ..to a place in your heart.
I’m so in love with Eddie 😭❤️
I love Brainscan! Cool to get to see behind the scenes! Thankyou for sharing this
Such an underrated film! Absolutely awesome 🔥🤘😆
Eddie looks younger than he did in the movie at 1:39.

Jason thats what I thought!

@@hugosophy He’s bloody minuscule, 165cm.
T. Ryder Smith is great as Trickster. I highly recommend the behind the scenes feature on the Blu Ray as he stays in character the whole time.
Awesooommmme. LOL T. Ryder's a stitch. I wish he'd do more in tv and films.
Wowwwwwwww that interview was insane and the graphics on the video game were cutting-edge!
"Don't you have anything ..... goooooD?" love this movie as a kid
This was my grandfather's favourite film when he was a child.
This was my great grandfather’s favorite film when he was a toddler.
Heard it was also the founding fathers favorite film

Underrated film. I love it
T.Ryder's commitment to this role is pure camp. and this movie is Stupid City. A classic and I love it.
DAMN, Trickster is BAD. ASS.
I just love eddie!
This is a great movie ❤ Trickster always reminded me of Steven Tyler of Aerosmith.
I knew he reminded me of some rockstar
His wardrobe is clearly modeled after after Steven Tyler and Mick Jagger.
t. ryder smith in character, badass
EDDIE IS SO PURE WOW I LOVE HIM SO MUCH PLS PROTECT HIM AT ALL COSTS
Hi Emily! 🤣❤️❤️
I watched some of the filming of this and met him back in my hometown in summer 93

Now that mullet looked cool
It’s more a variation of a Mohawk , he’s a demonic new romantic punk.
"cutting edge virtual reality"??
caesar349 It was the 1990s. Try to be understanding.
lol i know- i was being sarcastic. I was a teen in the 90s. Good times
The video gsme looked like shit, like a beta version of minecrast or something..... lolz!!!
coolest friend boy could ever have
Furlong looks annoyed Tricksters methoding crap lol
Good Ol' John Tesh. Anybody ever listened to his music? I celebrate his entire catalog.
Cool ! Thanks for sharing ! I love that movie ;-)
One of my favorite sci-fi/horror movies! :)

Love u Edward furlong xx
Забавно!
Just saw this movie on RUclips
EDDIE FURLONG🤗💖💜
I remembered the movie very well but forgot all about John Tesh's haircut
It's my specialty
wonder why he twitched like that at the end
Que guapo está trickster.
Just from a different shirt, he looks so much younger in the BTS video. Weird.
It was sad to see Furlong with starting to drug use. He makes this movi and some others just only for money for drugs, alcohol and some stuffs.
This was before his drug use IIRC. His drug use started during his mid twenties.
Rented it, dubbed it, and watched it until the tape wore thin.

How come Edward looks younger than in the movie? Footage from 2 years prior to shooting?
