the change of expression on Salia's face and the BGM change to that crisis theme once ange appears makes this so much more amusing.
Okay, how is what Hilda and them do even comparable to Shinn? Sure, he's had to kill people in a war, but that's just what it is: a war, and those people were enemies trying to kill him. Even at his worst, he never actively tried to get his own allies killed. I also never remember him outright bullying his allies, so how is even comparable to them?
True that, sure he had his grudges against Kira back then, but he's not that out of it to treat others the way those girls did. So they really shouldn't have that much ground to talk trash when they couldn't give Ange a break because she struggled with her recent new situation that changed everything in her life the moment she was revealed to be a Norma, and then she found herself out there in battle just like that.

Apparently, in-universe (SRW V's) Strike Freedom is based on the Vilkiss

The strike freedom is actually based on vilkiss.
In another word, within the lore of the world that the game takes place in the vilkiss is older than strike freedom and the strike freedom was build in it's image

Kira and Athrum have a history together in Gundam Seed.

Now Jill knows Celrstial being like the back of her hand.
The one she lost after the Mana world's last war.

This Gundam tech is the one of the things that can Stop Embryo.
Kira and Tusk were bigger men then Julio and JILL'S father.
Does it help to know that Salia's actress is also the voice of Miki Sayaka from Madoka Magica?

I though GN particles warped gravity, hence the Gundam's lack of heat signatures while flying. If that applies, shouldn't Setsuna have been able to completely ignore the gravity surge and blast the dragon? But I guess that would have ruined one of the most hilariously awesome moments in Cross Ange, so I'll go with it.

I really can't get around the fact that almost every character in Cross Ange is a giant asshole, aside from Ange, in some cases. You'd think someone would start a fight with Salia and Hilda, and win, to knock some sense into them.
chalk it up to the poor writing in Cross Ange, much like Gundam SEED instead of focusing on the Main characters development. They stay the same with all the negative qualities, and all the secondary characters around them are made to be worse. It's a very fanficish approach.
Oh, I can see that. I can also see a similar reason for death, in one of the previous stages, with that Zola chick. She died the same reason Cima Garahau from Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory did: failure to get rid of their "evil bitch" face. I definitely see the SEED-like route of characterization, except without the grating polite pronouns. And, the reasonless deaths. Seriously, why do these shows look like they were run by edgy teenagers?

Exactly. That's why I said almost everyone. So far, we've got haughtiness, greed, jerkassery and a commander chick with an attitude that begs for an ass-kicking, perhaps a greeting, then a headbutt, to see if it gets her brain going.

Are some of the freedom's bgm in this video edited since I was watching someone else's playthrough and throughout the game the only soundtrack that was being used was the 1st opening of destiny [Ignited]

I wonder why they didn't have Combattler V and Voltes V in this game since it has V in the title....I mean I love the fact that Great Mazinger and Getter Robo are back together, it just feels like a missed opportunity mostly because those two robots are pretty cool(along with Daimos) and they do have the letter V in their name so it could have worked out with the game's title. Maybe there were already too many mechs in the game?
Maybe they were too old? Even this version of Great is completely new
And Daitarn 3, Zambot 3, and the Z/ZZ mechs aren't old?
Granted... Maybe it's possible they didn't want them in the game and give the wrong impression that it would be around them as they wrote the story? That's not too unlikely, right?

There's 4 major themes in V:
The weight of responsibility of a mech (Gundams, Vilkiss, the Arbalest/Lavaeteinn, Zambot, etc).
The trauma/threat of pilotting a mech (Amuro's fear of the Psycoframe, Kamille's fear of Zeta, Mazinger Zero taking over Kouji, Evangelion, etc)
Co-Existance (Psycoframe, Biosensor, Getter, AT Fields, Quantum field)
And the "Voyage" to the stars (most of the units have some degree of familiarity with space)
But while both fit the above, there's one huge background theme that's easy to forget: they would probably be a bitshoehorned since their aliens were a little too... eccentric? The Mycenae Empire ARE the aliens (and Gods, soo...), all other aliens pilot relatively real robots, having Super Robot aliens would be out of place and probably dull down the weight of Gardim being a super civilization. Even the Meganoids for what they were worth are virtually extinct here and Zambot has no visible actual plot so it's villain mechs are relatively non-existant.
What theme does Might Gaine fall into? Love of JUSTICE!?

Fang Slasher; from what I've read you need to have at least 25 ace pilots and use the Wave Motion Cannon on stage 47.
