Why is the safe in the. Closet on the floor?? A senior would have a hard time sitting or kneeling on the floor.
You can ask Disney to change to legs on the bed so the bed is lower.
Do any of the staterooms have clocks or should we plan on bringing our own?
They don't have any on the Wish, so definitely bring your own if you want one.
I missed having clocks in the room.
I was very disappointed in the design of this room. When the single bed is down, no wheelchair access to the living area, necessitating the constant disturbance of that person especially considering the wider area of the desk. Also, to have to move table and chairs to get to that ramp. And the unit with the fridge is in the only place for a wheelchair to go into the living room. Truly it was not designed by an expert. The small Wonder accessible rooms were so well designed. Another inconsiderate by. Disney
I don’t know how anyone else feel about this room, but the main issue I have is the fact that Disney assumes that the handicap person is the one sleeping in the master bedroom.
My son is handicap and would need to use the master bedroom closet to access the pulldown hanging bars.
The handicap access (or even regular access) to the adjoining room door or the verandah door is inaccessible for anyone at all.
If you move the table and chairs to somewhere else in the room it would just be blocking something else.
This is the worst laid out accessible room I have ever seen.
That living and dining area is way too tight I would not be able to get around in that area at all unless they remove a lot of the furniture in there the rest of the room would work but not the living area
As a wheelchair user this room is not accessible 🤣 Jesus Disney
