I've got the same X82 Vivaro myself, really like those rims and the slight lowering, subtly done, excellent choice. I'd probably go white for the spoiler, it's not something I've considered. I need to tidy up the bodywork before doing too much else, it's a 2015 van that worked in South London for Integral so you can probably guess it's battle- scarred.

Might be a bit late but I think if you painted the spoiler to match the black trim/ bumpers, you'd easily mistake it for standard, wheels look great and the mirror covers remind me of Volvo's R-design

Personally I'd paint the bumpers and trim/spoiler white. my mate has an older one of these that's camper converted, all colour coded and it looks pretty good.

@@DaveRebuilds put a high bed in accessible from the back and make it a wee garage for the bike. That way you can have a bit at the side door as s day van kit out and a garage at the back.
Amazing what a set of nice wheels can do for a vehicles appearance. They are Calibre Tourers. Did you lose any oil out of the gearbox when you removed the nearside strut?. The driveshaft is only held in place at the gearbox by spring tension from the the hub. Rear spoiler in the same shade as the plastics I reckon. Great vid. (oh, and don't forget to put 5 of your original wheel bolts somewhere in the van just in case you need to put the spare on).
Thanks dude, yeah they do make a huge difference to the appearance! Got 5 bolts in the cab just in case 😉, and thankfully I watched a “how to change springs on a vivaro” vid before I did it so knew the driveshaft might decide to do its own thing if I didn’t secure it 😂

not been fan of newer model i have a 2012 renault trafic boght it 6 years ago still love driving her ...put 17" bme alloys on wanted sloiler on back door bet never got upto doing it do have side bars...for a 180.000 miles past mot again with nothing needed....if i got another one would get 13 plate last of old shape... for what you done to your vivaro looks nice...

@@DaveRebuilds my plan with mine is part camper day van stripped all the old wood panels out the back had new wood kit in my bedroom over a year been wanting to get solar panels on her but i am not good with electrics and being in north wales its a nightmare trying to find some one to do it for me....got some nsulation to start doing that if all goes well will get carpet rolls ...dont blame you to keek next van hope you find one

would definiteley colour match those bumpers (not sure about the sides). that's the way it should be, vauxhall will have left them unpainted to save money. all budget cars have black bumpers.

The tyres don’t have a rotation as such as they aren’t rotational tyres, as long as the outside faces out it should be fine. Or have I got that completely wrong?

Shouldn't really have Copper Slipped the bolts either, a definite No No on certain makes of cars (Mercedes Benz especially!!) when with the bolts Copper Slipped up they sometimes undo.
The springs were ok to fit actually, a lot easier than I thought they would be, very similar to car suspension! Yeah I think this is the only video on the vivaro as I ended up selling it, but I am looking at buying another one and doing it up like I planned to do on this own! Getting rid of it was a bad move and definitely regret it
@@planespeaking far better for general driving as it made it less like a boat in corners. The springs were specific for the vivaro so it could still hold the same max weight which was ideal 👍🏻

He knows somebody and he I think sandblasted them then painted some acid liquid on them then put some powder on them and baked them in a high temp ove. They are still like new but even at mates rates it was'nt cheap but was worth it. Not sure what the process is called but he does a lot of motorcycle parts and one off custom builds.
It’s a 1.6 diesel yeah, gear box is in good condition 👍🏻, think this model of Astra is quite a tough car, seen plenty online with 150k+ miles on them still going strong 👍🏻

Never put any type of anti seize on lug bolts. It will not all the lug bolts to be torque to spec and can let the back out.

It’s a 1.6 diesel yeah, gear box is in good condition 👍🏻, think this model of Astra is quite a tough car, seen plenty online with 150k+ miles on them still going strong 👍🏻

No, all black trim. I always think the sportive model looks good in white.
