Johnny knows that he was Ben's first crush and closet key, plus they've been good friends (& occasional lovers) since they were 19. Johnny was there for Ben during the lowest and hardest point of Ben's life. So it makes sense if Johnny feels nostalgically attached, protective and possessive toward Ben, or vice versa. Plus, when Johnny last met Callum, Callum was a hapless idiot young bartender who was dating his best *female* friend Whit, so ofc Johnny is suspicious of this new different Callum, because he's missing a lot of context from the years he wasn't on the Square.
Helping Johnny get rid of Dean is probably going to be Ben's exit story. Instead of splitting Ben and Callum up when they're in such a good place, they might have something go down that leads to Ben getting arrested or hurt or something like that.
The way a serious and very amoral criminal is long-time besties with a lawyer is so funny to me. Johnny is a morality pet about everything except Ben, who he'll let almost any heinous thing slide for apparently (is Johnny the new Ritchie?). And they've always been like this, even when they were still kids. MFEO.
The sly comments from johnny regarding Callum are getting on my nerves.
It's obvious that Johnny is jealous of Callum because of Callums closeness to Mick.

Why are they pushing these guys together when Ben is leaving?

@@lexi219 Thanks
I like the new Johnny on the show, it's played by newcomer, Charlie Suff, who's better than Sam Strike and Ted Reilly!!
Johnny is messing with the wrong person.
I don’t get it. “Might wanna keep it for your husband tho. Tho I imagine it’s not the first time you’ve done that.”Keep what?
Secrets obviously.
@@startracker5895 ahhhh thank you
