- Here is a video I filmed 18 years ago, with an analog (tape) camcorder.
There are HST's...class 47's (FGW 47's)...Steam locomotives and others....as there were back in 2002.
This has been re-edited and enhanced.
Hope you enjoy the production.

holiday traffic!
Some lovely clips there Dave, screaming HST's and claggy 47's...2002 feels like about 4 years ago! Some nice editing too to make it all meld together into quarter of an hour's trip down a 'not so modern any more' memory lane.

The driver of 47847 gave me a magnificent departure, clagging all the way...and a wave as he passed.

FGW always ran with complete matching sets, have to admire them for that.
