IMO the three blocks on the back of the Endo-02 models (Withereds and Mangle, although you’s think the other toys would have the same endo instead of just p o l e) are probably where computers and AI stuff are put in so the animatronic can be, well, animated (and sentient/intelligent)
I wonder if we’ll ever get to see the endos of the toy animatronics. It’s obvious that they have a completely different endo compared to the withered animatronics since there so much smaller and compact compared to how large the withereds are.
also i think the reason why some endo hands/ feet don't have fingers/toes is because the hands/feet aren't joints, meaning the fingers/toes are one piece

I think the wires on the fnaf 1 endo is air tubes, confirming that the fnaf 1 animatronics work on air. They probably have special air tanks inside of them so the employees don't have to take apart the stage to get an animatronic to P&S, since real animatronics have their air tanks in the stage.
Fun fact maybe the animatronics Begore they got withered maybe they are damaged and the workers removed the human body from every damaged animatronics and decides to broke them because if they fix them they will be damage again

The FNaF 2 animatronics are the ones that are stuffed with kids, pretty sure. That's why she has raspberry juice on her. I'm trying to figure out why the FNaF 1 animatronics are posessed though.
Withered animatronics are fixed after the end of FNAF 2 (1987). A restaurant is forced to shut down so they build small restaurant and fixed all withereds with Toy Animatronics function part. That’s why OG Animatronics are aggressive and we have power limitation in FNAF 1

But the toy animatronics had already failed their job and would be harder to maintain than making cheap new (or possibly even pre-existing) exoskeletons for the old animatronics.
