This is the ideal light for anyone who is buying or getting into their first LEP light. It won't give you the shock of a no-spill beam with a dedicated LEP, but it'll have the utility you need should you require more up-close illumination. And the LEP module itself is decent, performing on par with most entry-level models. Great light all-around for the price.
@flashlightcrazy can you please tell me why some FW3 have red light on flood? Initially I though it was only the green (army) model. Great review. Thank you.
The most comprehensive review, 💯other youtubers spend to much time focusing on “pet peeves”,👎🏿I Just purchased both FW & FWS 6500k will post my review once received 👍🏾💯🔥
Just a heads up on the tailcap lights. The power draw on the AUX LEDs is actually lower than the battery drain from it's own internal resistance. They use less "battery power per minute" than sitting the naked battery on a shelf does. So there is no need to turn them off or unscrew it. It's kinda wild, but LEDs just dont use that much power and that dim they use next to nothing (literally, almost zero). I like that they have fiberoptics (or just holes?) to illuminate the Tritium Vial slots.
Just odered one from banggood, it was 50% off for £78 total, which is very cheap for this light ! Cant wait for it to arrive. Thanks for the top quality vid mate 👍🏻
Thank you for the video. Today I ordered this flashlight to my place in Russia for $81. At the same time, I have an imalent ms03 with 13,000 lumens in turbo, which is my EDC flashlight. And wurkkos ts30s pro and wurkkos ts32 are also coming to me. So the flashlight from this video will be the first with this technology (lep) in my collection. This flashlight has disadvantages and I am completely ready to put up with them. For the sake of such innovative technology. I actually only found out about lep flashlights 2 months ago.))
Great video. There is a red flood led version of this flashlight also. How do ya know which one you are getting? Fw3s & fw3 which is which? Do you know? Thanks.
Considering picking this one up, but not being ble to adjust the LED brightness levels while using the LEP (all turbo, all the time) is a bit of a disappointment as is no shortcut to turbo flood. Might stil end up with one tbh.. 😂
What's your thoughts on this in direct comparison to the OLight Marauder Mini? MW3 is cheaper and smaller. The MM wins on flood (7k lumens). The MW3 wins on throw distance, but has a smaller light circle (technical term....)
They are similar in their functions but vastly different in their UI and their Outputs and Runtimes. For nothing to big, the M FW3is awesome, But for long hunting or camping trips, I would go the MM

Hello. I am writing through Google Translator. Did you wait for the lantern? What do you think? Is there a wow effect?

Nice amount of slots to install tritium vials or glow sticks! Build quality looks pretty good.
Yeah man, a true enthusiast torch
Amazing Torch LEP / flood light..🎉
Thanks Darren! I just got one and was stumped by the UI.....And the manual isn't much help....SICK LIGHT is RIGHT!

👍Looks really good, but very expensive here and doesn't come with a battery.
Same price here as an Olight Marauder Mini. 😮
