😆 I watched this in the ‘70’s and 80’s. Was so funny and I’m a female and was never offended. It’s just comedy. Along with Dick Emery, Love thy Neighbour, Are You Being Served, Rising Damp, Mind Your Language to name but a few, we had the best of saucy, seaside postcard comedy in the good old days.
Love it never seen this one.. Benny hill is class would never air these days which is a shame.. Great as always kid 👍 👍

That was funny lol, you can tell a guy scripted that sketch though 😂 her offering to take him home, and offering to explain what 'naked' meant once they got there!

Benny Hill only got away with that material because he was gay in real life.
Unless you’re an old flame of Benny Hill you have no basis to say he was “gay in real life” - it seems unlikely considering no exes have come out of the woodwork since he died
As for his comedy there were moments of genius but so much of it was really weak material, creepy and not well-written. I’m amazed it ran for as long as it did
He always denied he was gay, he apparently (according to google) proposed to 2 different women but they both said no. There's a famous actress who said she turned down his proposal, he never married or had children, so people speculate.
@@Kazza_8240 Well, maybe I am wrong, but I assumed that it was common knowledge to us Brits, but obviously not to those in the States who are only just discovering his work.
