If I were in the market for a mini-excavator, your ENTHUSIASTIC review would definitely make me (run) to my nearest Cat store !

Ha! Thanks for that. We truly enjoy this machine, it's been an absolute beast for it's size. The upgraded 48" heaping cleanout bucket moves a stupid amount of dirt for it's size, and the 305.5 will swing it no problem.

I would love to see a video of you comparing the 305.5 and your 308 and how they stack up against each other, your uses for each, when is one machine better than the other, etc. and my followup question to that would be if a 306 or 307 be a machine that would get us the best of both worlds. Thanks for the awesome content!

Hello! I apologize for missing your comment. We'll look into doing that. We've been super busy taking care of business, having a baby and other things. Hopefully we can start uploading things again soon, as we've got a ton of content that needs editing and posting! thanks for the comment!

Hello, I was wondering if your backfill blade ever drifts down slowly? I have a 2018 305 1600 hrs that the blade will slowly drift while working. Thanks!

Sounds like you got a leak sir

Hey Jared! I can't say that our blade has any noticeable bleed out on the hydraulics. Maybe after hours and hours of sitting. Sounds like the valve block might need an adjustment, but I would check with your CAT dealer on that. That can be annoying! Take care and thanks for watching!

I have a 2015 3035 with 1100 hours no problems what was that extension cord running to

Hello Winston, that's great to hear. I believe the extension chord was running to a block heater with a timer. It helps the machines in the cold winter during starting here in Alaska! Thanks for your comment and question.

Hello Roberto. I believe the list price for this machine new (year hold over) was around $70k in 2017. Thanks for inquiring!
