What about the receiver in the flat on the right side? On each play u showed the offense had 1-2 players in the right flat 0-15yds wide open? Are u just giving them this to defend the deep corner route or can u defend both?
it flats (cloud flats, soft squats and hard flats), curl flats (seam flats and curl flats) and hook zones (mid reads, vert hooks and hook curls). They're all grouped together at the bottom of the coaching adjustments menu
How do you defend a flood where they have both Streak/Corner but also drag from backside WR and route? Seems like if i take all that away, hell just scramble
i mean that is a pretty good combo that takes a decent amount of zones to defend but it's not that hard to contain most qb's with defensive lineman contains.
Any advice for guarding the middle of the field ? I use a base 3-4 and zone about 95% of the time while shading inside but I’m still getting killed on streaks and sometimes slants over the middle. Also, I haven’t been using zone drops but I will now to defend the sidelines. 🏈🏈🏈
The middle of the field is most times the hardest area of the field to defend in zone coverage so we always say that your user is the best answer to stopping middle of the field throws. Also, shading zones inside essentially doesn't do anything, shading inside or outside really only helps man coverage defenders.
i use my basic football principles… if have something crossing your face 9/10 something is coming you opposite way… never chase the cross but don’t give to much free space and drop off to the incoming crosser … this is with the expectation of the other mid defenders picking up the first crosser
@@BLT4LIFE21 also shading definitely helps on zone as well mostly for mid and flat defenders but it’s definitely situational i’ve got many bubbles and slants with proper shading it just help the break on the ball but defenders on this game can be dumb af as well as
@ nah but I’m saying you said you can’t press zone dropped corners, I’m saying you can just make sure it’s a hard flat & it’ll sprint back to desired depth
Bro you gotta stop with these loud ass beeps you put in your videos
Gotta get the attention
I’ll turn the volume down though
Pls lol
aint no way this comment has 8 like🤣

you can defend both if you add another zone (5 yard curl flat) I was just showing how to defend corner routes/deep crossers
is there a certain setting you have to change. When i go to individual adjustments it only lets me mess with flats and shit

true, I've just rarely seen shading actually affect how zones play (except for shading down) because typically they just suck lmao
you can press zone dropped corners just make sure theyre hard flats not clouds
not true at all!
if you set a zone drop it'll play the same depth regardless if it's a hard flat, cloud flat or soft squat

Do you play more man or zone on this game?
Almost every play I run a mix of man and zone
but I would mostly run a man blitz if I had to choose one
Was wondering if the "BLT" had anything to do with the sandwich 🥪?
lol no it's my initials in real life
