yeah , im still leaning towards it could be conditions he unconsciously achieves to make a marker but if its just getting faster that could be a problem eventually.
@@ReactCityyeah I'm not convinced that his time is getting shorter, his last checkpoint in s2 was one of his longest going back almost a week, and his first ever one only went back a few hours.
@starkillahx they don't seem to follow a pattern. First arc was only a few hours because that's how long he was in that world. Second arc was a few days, third arc was a few days at first, then a few hours when he got possessed and had Julius kill him, then a few hours again when he tried to go back and save Rem. Arc 4 was 3 or so days. Now it's only like 20 minutes. They seem to get longer or shorter depending on the situation.
As an anime only, I am extremely hype for this arc. I loved the slow build up of tension. From the moment Regulus showed up on the street, something immediately felt off to me. I love Regulus. But him appearing anywhere is almost never good. The worst part is, we as the audience know how dangerous and powerful he is. But none of the characters do. Well, Emilia technically knows from when he showed up in her past. But she seemingly doesn't remember him. It must feel so awful for Subaru. Having a year of relative peace and quiet. Only to suddenly be thrown back into the horror of death. Just a few things. Regulus is the Archbishop of Greed. He did show up with Gluttony at the beginning of S2. So I can see why it might be confusing. Also, something I immediately noticed was Sirius has the same last name as Petelgeuse. I only picked up on it because our Sloth boy said his full name constantly when introducing himself to Subaru. So it definitely stuck out to me. And she has a very similar eye color to Emilia and Fortuna. Her ears look very sharp under the bandages. I wonder if she's an elf

@@ReactCity I don't know if Conti means anything but I'm pretty sure it's not a title because the other two Sin Archbishops we've met have different last names: Greed = Regulus Corneas Gluttony = Lye Batenkaitos They both said their full names on s2 ep 1 btw. So yeah either Petelgeuse has a relative or there's some other connection between him and Sirius.
Yeah my guess is that when Reinhard was born Theresia lost her Sword Saint buff and that was how she died to the White Whale. Ergo, that was why Wilhelm blamed Reinhard.
I'm an anime only, and I'm really curious about this matter with Garfiel's mom, in his flashback back in season 2 he blamed himself for the death of their mother, after she left to find their father, so I think this could be her mother that survived or a blood relative or something else. Sirius is also very interesting, and theories keep racking in.
