Thank you very much for the visit to Jardiland, so much fun! My long career (48 years, loved all of it - retired now) was as a garden center buyer in places like Jardiland, but in the Portland, Oregon U.S.area. When you get chickens, you will very likely want to have them always. They are so entertaining and sweet. Great pets. Thanks again for a fab video. -Mel Lumby, Oregon
Yes, it was lovely. Thank you. By the way, the person below who recommended having a Crepe Myrtle in your garden...an excellent idea. They respond well to warmth & their flowers are lovely. Enjoy! -Mel in Oregon
My happy place! A nursery! I'm so envious, I spent the first 57 years of my life in southern California amongst citrus and avocado groves, hiking in the desert, and now I live in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and I would kill for a lemon tree and agave. This weekend I'm working like a crazy person removing the winterizing from my 50 roses here, and planning new additions to the garden, which is still fairly wintry. Thanks for the plant fantasy!
My lemon and kumquat trees are full of fruit. I harvested some lemons last weekend and I'm making lemon preserve which will become lemon paste for cooking. I also made a batch of kumquat marmalade. 😋 Everything else is starting to bloom and I have more to plant. Enjoy your garden this summer. Cheers-
Happy to have you along following the transformation! The winters in Charente usually are mostly bright and a bit crispy sometimes with cold being mostly just some degrees minus Celsius at nights and mornings. Yes, we have some friends who grow lemon trees in their court yard sunny side, sheltered from the wind.
Guys, we've had chickens for 10 years now, in our little garden in Denmark. Always 4-5 chicks. We LOVE it and will never NOT have chickens anymore :D When we find our house in France, we're going for a bigger coop 😁😁😁😁
@@charenteliving Yes, we are. We're going this summer to see some houses, and no later than next year we move (plan is to rent a gîte while we go house hunting). We would like to be close to either Bergerac or Toulouse :)
I enjoyed your visit to the garden centre. I have been big on gardening since I was 3 years old (a LONG time! LOL). I'm glad to see how much you appreciate plants, and the knowledge of these unfamiliar plants will come with time and experience. Your palm has grown immensely. One of those pinnate palms in the garden centre was actually a Chilean palm (Butia capitata), and believe it or not it makes a quite delicious edible fruit (tastes somewhat like plums), it has greyish leaves. It's a slow grower, but super cold-hardy, and only become more attractive over time. Looking forward to seeing what you guys do next. Salut de Normandie. :-)
I love this season, rebirth of flowers and vegetation...Your trees have greatly benefited from it, espacially the palm tree.. ( I also have this in my garden ) I love it..! and so many choices in these stores to beautify your garden...! Nice video, Pachelbel ..thanks for sharing.🤩👍
If you would be so kind as to list your music choices. My grandsons also enjoyes your channel and is an avid musician and very interested in classical music. Thank you.
Nice video. I love the music. The flowers are so pretty to.

Thank you so much! Happy you like it!

Oh wow lots of work for you. It must be beautiful there in Michigan also!
I love going to garden centres. That one is no different. Thank you for the walk around
We could stroll for hours here. Just love all the wonderful plants!
Nice tour! I have a smoke bush, and the branches are pretty in flower arrangements. Those lemon trees look so beautiful! Wish I had your climate!
Yes love the smoke bushes. The climate is great here although has been a terribly wet winter, so looking forward to the warm summer.
Lovely wee tour…thank you!
Thank you.

Oh wonderful Glen. You have been keeping very productive, enjoy the Spring!
Very nice garden center. Lots to choose from.
Yes a great place!
Love your garden!
Thanks so much, it is a lovely space to be in!
Great variety of plants in that garden center. Did you buy anything. Lots to choose from and be inspired by.
We very very restrained any only looked this trip, although so many things so tempting!
So inspiring watching how you transform your house and garden. What are the winters like? Can you grow lemons outdoors?

Fab vlog. Love your music selection.
Thanks James!
Thanks for that, I’m envious!
We love the garden centres, lovely to spend the afternoon strolling!
Fab garden centre.. I think you need a bourgainvillia.. Should be okay in the climate 😊
We actually have three planted in our garden from last summer, hope they bloom well this year! Just love them!
Looks as if you have the same growing environment that I have here in Florida. A beautiful crepe myrtle would look real nice in your garden.
Oh must look it up, thank you!

Oh wonderful, I can imagine they are so nice having around. Are you currently searching for a place in France?

Your garden looks very well. Its a big difference before and after the planting you did last year.
Yes we are delighted with how it's coming along. Not being there for so much of the year restricts us a lot so we happy how it's going so far.

Hi Ron. Interesting to read about the Chilean palm, must look it up again to see which one it was. Thank you. Greetings to you up North.

Yes the Spring is so special and it was hard not to spend every penny in the garden centre haha
Very nice garden center with huge selections.
Yes an amazing place!

Hi Jackie, we list the music in the description of every video so should be there for you to find. Hope you find it. Best regards.
❤
Guys, Jardiland should at least offer you an olive tree in exchange for all this free publicity!
Haha would be great!!
