Video interview with bass guitarist Jenny Lee Lindberg and lead singer Emily Kokal from American indie rock band Warpaint. FaceCulture spoke to Jenny and Emily about meeting at a casting, being creative, Little Two's, the first practice, being free-spirited people, a good work ethic, moving in together, needing a break, keeping connected, making the EP, Warpaint, getting serious, rewriting songs, a democracy of dictators, touring, preparing for the second album, keeping open spaces, the live sound, Stella's rhythm, and a lot more! This is what all interviews should be like. You ask them an interesting question, and you let them talk.
It's bush league, IMO. Is the interviewer Scandinavian? I've heard SO MANY BAD interviews by Scandinavians.
mad to think warpaint have now been around over a decade , when i was a teenager in the mid 90s, the 80s seemed like a distant past but you realise 10 years is nothing when you get older , now theres kids of today who look at a band like warpaint how i used to see 80s bands .. one of the most underrated bands of all time
Great open interview letting them talk. Really enjoyed this insight into my favourite band at the moment. Love them.

I met Emily before a show in San Fran! She was very nice and soft spoken. Then met Theresa & Stella afterwards.. nice young ladies!!

"aan de overkant" means "on the other side" and not "across"
"across" means "door∙heen" or "tegenover" in dutch which means "through" and "opposite"
there are a lot more meanings but these are most important
i could be wrong but i think it has something to do with swamps or places you really should watch yr step
