How do you know? You think that knowing was coming is just by stealing the signs from catcher? If you do then you know nothing about baseball. There's a thing called picking up the pitchers tipping pitches and using it to your adavantage. And yes, there's a lot of pitchers who tip pitches unintentionally, and yes, most hitters pay attention to those details.

Like game 7 of the 2017 and 2019 world series'. 2017, the final was 5 to 1 but the dodgers had men not only on base but in scoring position in almost every inning. every single inning watching that game was intense. Was at my high school’s homecoming dance, right outside the gym to watch the 9th inning on my phone. Note I’m not a fan of either team. Immediately when DJ hit the home run, I was like “Oh my god what am I doing here?!” so I texted my parents and said I’m ready to come home. Sure enough, right when we get home, Altuve hit the home run, and I gotta say, that was the best part of my night. Not a fan of either team, but I love witnessing October magic.

DJ is an excellent hitter who could output what the team needs in crucial moments. In addition, impressed by the the Astros fans who step away from grabbing the homerun and let the player try to catch it. This is classy.

If it’s so easy why aren’t y’all out there playing? At least act like you’ve ever played baseball, whether you know what pitch is coming or not. It’s not easy to hit the ball at any level, the hand eye coordination it takes it extraordinary. And also the Red Sox got caught doing the same thing, the old baseball mantra still lives, “if you ain’t cheating, you ain’t trying”.

I remember watching this half inning. I was downstairs with my mom, my step dad, and my dogs. I was so scared our season would end now, with a 3-1 comeback on the brink of happening. Everyone was sleeping but me, and I was on my knees. When DJ hit it gone, I didn’t want to wake them up, so I simply said a quiet “DJ!” which then woke up my dogs, who barked and woke up my mom and step dad, and then I started screaming.

Eli Kulin makes sense that you then wouldn't watch as often. But viewing a postseason game from a tv is only different from viewing a regular season game from a tv because the crowd is louder, the announcers are more excited and constantly reminding you of the importance of that particular game. If you enjoyed the sport itself, the crowd and the announcers should be much less relevant to your viewing pleasure.
