I didn’t know that you were experiencing some depression, but I pray that God lifts it off of you and continues to bless you in Jesus’s Holy Name, Amen. Also, this is the first video that I have seen on your channel. I don’t know what other types of music you review, but since becoming a serious Christian over the years, I have stopped listening to a lot of main stream music. Try spending one day just listening to K-Love or music like this video and see how you feel. I think you will feel so much better because it Is holy. Most main stream music is worldly and full of sorrows, strife, envy, jealousy, and can stir up feelings of lust, anger, and/depression. I personally would stay away from any music that triggers an obsessive thought about another person or something, or anything that spirals you downward. You know, I have heard that a lot of music outside of Godly music can be inspired by the Devil and I believe it. Some of these artists don’t even know what has a grip on them, but they themselves are seriously depressed and unhappy. Some even have committed suicide, have had multiple lovers (which can lead to a lot of pain for themselves and others), or have died of overdoses. If you would like, try listening to K-Love for a day or music like this song, and see how you feel. I have a strong feeling that it will lift your spirit and make you feel like a whole new person! Amen! God has given you a profound insight, GG. Human beings are made with wonderfully formed mortal bodies that allow us to hear music. We are endowed with emotions so that music will move us with positive or negative reactions. We have intellectual endowments that allow some to produce beautiful renditions with all of the technical and artistic elements foe an absolute masterpiece like this version of "So Will I/100 Billion X"! Others of us can then appreciate these technical elements of such a rendition as this. But what really separates us from other animals is our endowment with an eternal spirit. This spirit can be awakened by the amazing Grace of our Lord God by His Holy Spirit. Music can become the avenue that allows the angels to knock on the door of your heart, and they can use music as their "grammar" to spiritually affect us far and beyond mere emotional and intellectual appreciation. As you mention, GG, there are fallen angels whose use of music can lead some to the gates of hell, and Heavrnly angels who can use holy music like this, to usher in the very Holy Spirit of the Lord God!! Such encounters with the Spirit of God, and belief in the deity of Lord zJesus Who Is The Christ leads to a higher capacity to love God back foe His Grace and support, AND to love all others as well, even including our enemies. "If You gave your life for love, so will I", says this song. Our host here has been blessed with the faith to show how God's Holy Spirit can work through us to bless us. When you have been touched by God's Holy Word and spirit, you will ne er need any more "proof" that God exists. He will become your Heavenly Father, and His Sin Jesus will become your King.
