Even watching Krause on TUF, I always thought he'd be a hell of a coach. He has talent, obviously.. but he's not elite and that's fine. I've heard only good things about James Krause in Thailand and Singapore. His public image and his track record are very strong even amongst amateur muay thai, BJJ practitioners like myself and many training facility owners/operators.

@@LynchOnSports - he undoubtedly is very sharp and has a deep understanding of what works in MMA, which parameters need evolution and how to implement his knowledge. Who here after Joaquin called Krause out after the knockout 255?🖐🏾
I can understand where this guy is coming from. I myself an amateur boxer, and I remember being 17 when I first started training. This one kid from my school came into the gym and wanted to spar me. We did and he was just trying to knock my head off. He didn't, but after that I didn't want to spar him anymore because a fight is different from a sparring session and he was using all these dirty tactics in the ring. A week later I was sparring one of my friends in the gym and that same kid I sparred last week comes into the same gym and starts running his mouth and saying that we were going to spar. I told him no because that's not how I do things but he kept calling me a bitch and all this other stuff. Even the coach was fed up with him. Eventually, the coach told me to spar him and we did. The kid tried to do the same thing, trying to knock me out and hit me before the round even started. I still outboxed him. because he was already gassing out by getting emotional, but it's not someone I want to spar. Eventually the kid left me alone because I blocked him from all my social media accounts and moved schools. He eventually got kicked out of the gym for not being able to abide by the gym rules. Like this James Krause guy said, these people are just in it for themselves and they aren't trying to help people.
or theyre on two different missions in life and you know, two different people, entirely seperate from anyone youve encountered and weve not just heard the other side but only krauses. do as you say but not say as you do? i respect both these guys and i sincerely bet you that guy isnt as bad as the guy u are talking bout, but ive never met this buckley kid. he seems really fucking humble despite having the most impressions ever in MMA on any video in less time than any other video. i can see where youre both coming from and i can see where buckley , a poor kid who is fighting for a wage is just trying to sharpen his edge anyway he can and knows how could definitely rub the wrong way on any gym owner.

I’m affiliated with a gym in St.Louis but my gyms located in the upper Midwest. My head coach resides in St.Louis and has told me about Buckley and that he’s a garbage can when it comes to personality. He’s not the guy to have around.
I trained for the first time at an MMA gym a couple years ago where Buckley trained me and taught me some basics, he was a really nice chill guy and took his time with me so I only have good experience with him

One of the coolest fighters in the game. He is super nice in person. His wife is awesome as well. I hope he continues to be blessed in and out of the cage.

I’m from Saint Louis and I never heard of the guy before that fight. It’s not like he’s the second coming of Ernest Hart Jr.
He makes ya proud to be a small part of the larger martial arts community in KCMO
Weird he comes off as a very nice guy ya know, the convo with Dana back stage and the interview with a baby in his arms.
Can't take that into account to much. Camera only 4 a moment.
And some of his other interviews he sounded extremely humble. Weird. I thought the Kik was cool but after I heard some of his interviews thought that his personality was legit and started following him. This is too bad if this is true
Some people can be nice and still be sort of a stubborn hard ass at the same time.

Keep in mind, this is just one dude's opinion, not cold hard evidence that Buckley is an asshole. There may be truth to what he says, but it sounds like this guy has an axe to grind. Two sides to every story!
I consider myself a big fan of Krause because of how honest and real he is, and I would love to see him fight Joaquin Buckley. Maybe that’s the next fight to make if Buckley gets past Jordan Wright.
Fly Kevin Holland down to smack him up again.
I like Krause’s perspective. He cares about everyone on his team growing. Therefore, Buckley doesn’t bring anything to the table his team can grow on if the guy is selfish in his way of training.
Turns out Buckley's just a fighter NOT a sportsman.

listen to a Holland interview, you’d be dead by the end of it
Everyone has character flaws. James just happens to not like the ones that Buckley has. Buckley is very young, he will learn or his mistakes will catch up to him. This is just the way of the world, I don't view either guy differently. People have their own ways of going about stuff, if his way of training, fighting, treating people or whatever is very bad then that will hurt his career. These things don't have an effect on me or other fans. I would watch these two guys fight, I think it would be good. I wish both of them the best in the end. Much success and money.
sparring is a pretty general term. light/heavy spars have been coined as the term sparring is so general. Buckley could be the nicest Guy you ever met, but the fight business isnt the Nice Business, and if he spars hard that doesnt make him a Bad Guy. its not a flaw. simply another way of doing things which is quite common in MMA , just happens a gym owner of most kinds wouldnt like these types.
Beating up people smaller and weaker than you to feel big is pathetic no matter how much pacifism you perceive it with. I'm not so quick to dismiss certain flaws and I dont wish just anyone success those who earn it and prove themselves to be worthy beings deserve it and those who go about it wrong do not especially in fighting because it showcases humanity better than almost anything.
What a moronic comment. Might as well have just said 'thoughts and prayers"
@@xxslears2xx ... When you're sparring with someone and they're to take your head off on a technical spar that's not a character flaw its more like psycho/sociopath behaviour... If they ask you to go lighter and you don't listen its pretty clear when you've been kicked out of multiple gyms...
