Shadow and Knuckles is an underrated rivalry in the franchise.

I heard people talk about a few, but I have so many different variance that I don’t even remember if there’s any continuity between any of them. Also, none of them really involved shadow and knuckles fighting each other.

Well Shadow needs to get back his character.
The best rivalry in the whole Sonic franchise.
They have sibling rivarly energy. Not the occasionally wholesome thing. But the type of both ready to beat the living shit out of each other, but not to the extend of kill each other.
I like how in the archie comics they both fall into river, save each others life makeing sure they both make it out alive. Get out of the river, take moment to catch breath and then go straight back to arguing and ready to fight each other.

I would expect heated fights like that to between sonic and shadow, but shadow and knuckles? They would be like Vegeta and piccolo.

Shadow = Vegeta
Knuckles = Piccolo
Tails = Krillin
Silver = Trunks
Vegeta and Piccolo never fought. Nor would Shadow fight Sonic for no reason
I hate the comparison of Vegeta = Shadow. They have nothing in common with the exception of being equals to the MC.

@@snapclub8751 Shadow was an anti hero in the non canon paths of Shadow the Hedgehog. Shadow was a villain in his original appearance. Now he's just a good guy. How can you see his depiction in Sonic 06 anf still think he's anything but a pure good guy?

Sonic, Knuckles and Shadow are all roughly equal so its hard to say. I wish Ian would bring back Knuckles's base chaos powers tho. I miss attacks like the Thunder Arrow.
