I can relate. In 1982 we had an Orchestra of 578 plus about 1500 Choir, in the Dautphetal Halle in Hessen, Germany for a Youth Service , the biggest ever up to then and it was absolutely amazing. After the service by Ap. Schilling we played" Ich singe vom Sieg" which was enormous.What a memory!. Thank you, Lord
I also sang in this choir. It was a most memorable moment to be a part of the occasion.
Very special... My son age 18 was also a part of that great experience. It is as if I can hear his voice every time when I listen to this CD. RIP to so many brothers that have passed away since that recording..... including my Dad, his brothers and other family members.. God bless.
I was 16 when I was part of the choir in GOOD HOPE CENTRE
my name is lorenzo and i have had a wonderful time practicing these hymns especially on that sunday when we sang at the good hope center and i can relate that the floor were indeed vibrating. then some time after that i were back at the good hope center with the mass orchestra that were even more amazing upto today i still get goose bumps listening to this and to think that my voice is also part of this.
The retired District Apostle Barnes was the initiator of this Choir Project, he was one of the best former Choir Conductors of Cape Town.

We grew up listening to this in our home, my father and his brothers sang in the choir too, it now play in my home an my kids will 1 day play in theirs too. 90s days ❤️ Wonderful memories. Thank you Stout Hearted Men.

I was one of the singers. It was a great experience. The floor vibrated as we sang.
I love this cd. My dad sang in this choir. I remember how we screamed when the President went to watch them at the last recording and it was shown on the news. RIP Priest Goliath my dad. Thank you for posting this. God bless you. 🎼

Whenever I listen to this CD I am transported to the heavenly realm and envision a myriad of heavenly beings praising the King of Kings. Simply amazing! One of my favourite church CDs by far.

I love this rendition of When I survey the wondrous cross. Fantastic Harmony. I have heard this Hymn sung in 5 different tunes. This one is very very good too.

Does it mean that this choir no longer exists? Who ever organized these voices is an amazing soul. I wish this choir had continued to perform to this day!
Oh it does exist, just not in such a big group. This was a special and huge event. A Western Cape, SA recording. Each congregation has a choir, but then we also have a special choir of selected members. See NAC CD's and music online. Enjoy.

Good Quality Choir and Music
I played in the brass ensemble for this recording at the Good Hope Center that was so many years ago .. gosh, but still sounds good.

Beautiful, inspiring, solemn music praises to God but where are your gospel messages, the doctrines from the Bible that prepares us believers to meet our God? Should I be attracted to your church simply because you have well trained beautiful inspiring choirs? Don:t think so. Thank you and God bless anyway. I have been listening to your choir praises regularly, no doubt one of the best.
...but where are your gospel msg... thank you for your comment, you are listening to the music but you're not hearing it. Listening to the words of the hymns and anthems myself had me discovering the msg within it.
But Joel you must know that massage is also in the hymns
Listen to to the text of the music and you will realize the message. Gospels are just another style of music to worship the Lord. Thankyou for the credit.

What is it about choirs music and this church ,nothing about the power of the gospel ,this church gets the ppl exited about the wrong things
The Psalmist, David is said to be the man after God's heart and the greatest composer of all time. in fact the whole book of psalms are hymns, and when he sung God was excited so then who are we not to be?music opens not only the heart but the soul also
@@jeremiahmuleta7980 I don't think you understand salvation and redemption, David could write the psalms because it was his own experiences, for example he fought the bears and the giants and knew God in those situations, now you sing his beautiful psalms and you don't understand God's provision, watch The Chosen maybe you will learn about the Bible then you can write your own experience about Yeshua our great redeemer,
