Hey, I just stumbled on to this video. I have her haircut and I love it! I used to cut hair for Vidal Sassoon back in 1978 and for the longest time I have been cutting my own hair. Vidal always told me that if I can cut my own hair I can cut anyone's hair! Just recently I finally found someone that gets it! Arthur Sebastian here in San Francisco cuts my hair! When I took her pics to him he at first laughed but then he cut it and loved it and so do I. Great video!
I went into the salon with a photo of Kris Jenner's cute haircut front and back, and obviously, the hairdresser didn't know how to cut it like you did. Wish I could come to you to cut my hair properly. I love this haircut!

Hey there! Well if I am going to connect 2 sections and previously cut one, it's more of a visual thing. I kinda already have a sense of what the lengths should be for both. It usually just ends up matching up and all works out. It's all experience I guess. Also, sometimes I tend to go all over the place when cutting and I even get lost myself lol.

Looking after the housebound, elderly, I'll cut their hair in a style that's easy to care for, looks stylish, and this cut checks all of the boxes. Not all have the volume, so other styles can take advantage that feature. The cut can be varied to suit the needs.
Wonderful ;-) thinking about to get a Pixie cut like this too - I have long and thin hair, it need a lot of care - I'm a little bit afraid should I or not ;-) - but it is just hair and it grows.......... kind regards
great stuff! well, i have seen a couple of these videos of yours, could you tell me when you cut short hair,whether it's anne hathway, carey, you cut each the back differently,some take diagonal sections from behind the ear, some take vertigo from center back or like this one from below the occipital, even though they all appear to be short at the end, what is the difference? any why you choose the way you did. thanks!

I've always loved Kris' cut. I'd really like to see you do an asymmetrical bob (like mine is in my default pic). It doesn't look like that anymore unfortunately, it's all shoulder length, brunette to blonde ombre with pink, haha! That was my favorite hair cut my stylist did on me. It was inspired by Kimberly Caldwell's asymmetrical bob and my stylist did the entire thing with a razor. I'd be interested in watching how she did it in detail! Love your videos!
Any suggestions if hair is thick and very puffy don't want it need it to be more smooth

The Kris Jenner cut its lovely but if it is possible you could send me the hair oils that you guys apply after the cut
When you are cutting the sides, you start at the front and move back towards the back area you've already cut. When taking that first front side section, what are you using as your guide?! How do you know its going to match up with the back section? Im confused!
I love how you cut hair the same way I do! I wear this style, and so often people want to use horizontal cutting techniques on me for this and it drives me crazy! I wish you worked by me :)

I luv this cut...do you think it would still look good without the cutting up around the ears part, and with wavy hair?
Hi, I'm not the salon guy, but I'm a professional hairstylist of 35 yrs. and I assume he would agree with my answer to your question. This cut is not really cut around the ear. The tops of the ears are still covered, but the sides need the diagonal line to look and lay right, especially with wavy hair, imo. Without the diagonal cut on the sides you will end up with too much bulk on the sides and right behind the ear, and a different look. Imagine a diagonal line following the contour along the top of your ear lobe. It's the correct line to have for this style, and important to get right. And it's a good length without exposing your whole ear. I hope this helps.

This is great. Will this style work for thin, fine and slightly wavey hair? I have this cut and it always seems to go flat after two hours or so. What product can I use to make this last throughout the day?
Yes this will bring more volume to it. Use a volumizing mouse!

It would have been helpful had he started with longer hair and not a length that was almost in the shape and length he was cutting to achieve.
