Not a one take video, though. Luke has said there are cuts transitioning in and out of the car. The exit is easy to spot as a parked car appears to the right.

I knew Danny would love the way Ren rides this beat like a professional surfer! I totally agree with you, Joe, on video preferences. I really enjoy a video that requires effort over a video that looks expensive. An expensive looking video tells me that a lot of money was spent but, I think I need to know that the artist cares about the end result and doesn't see it as "someone else's job" to make the videos look good. That's just my personal preference and what I look for in a music video. If it the artist, themselves, wasn't even involved in half of the production, it shows in the final creation and I end up just feeling "meh" about it. Ren's videos always leave you feeling like, "Man, if I really put the effort in, I could do something like this, too." It's inspirational and I think that's why I prefer his style, myself.

There are cuts when the camera goes in and out of the car. You can tell because when they stop the car there is no white car parked on the right but when the camera exits the car you can see a white parked on the street.

That transition in & out of the back seat, there's got to be a shelf or box or something he can slide in & out on, & probably partially hanging out of the window. What do you think?
@mikegonzales4199 Ren said in a chat, it technically wasn't a one take and was filmed over 2 days. Ren said it was impossible to get Luke ( cameraman) out of the backseat in one cut. If you watch it again, you can see the white car parked on the right, that wasn't there earlier, that's because Ren said they filmed it the next day. He joked that prayed it wouldn't rain the following day being as it was Brighton UK. Good question though, as until I saw Rens explanation, I was thinking how the he'll did Luke get out the car so smooth 😂

"so we actually had to hide a cut going in and out of the car because it was just me on camera and also shooting in a moving car with really specific camera movements and focus..I didn't know anyone who could do it the way I wanted, so I just had to end the first shot be leaning as far into the car as I could with the camera. Then cut and open the door, sit in the car. Then hold camera out of the car window as far as I can and record as I bring it in again, starting the next shot. Hardest thing was to 99% match the overlapping shots in that moment it goes through the window: angle, composition, etc. So there's a freeze frame where the inside of the car is a different shot to the outside of the car"
