I appreciate Christy's heart for women. I'm sure it's a God given focus and very needed in our society and culture in the U.S. Ministries with specific focus are often very effective and helpful. I would like to say, as a young man(25), I value the things I hear on this show and I need to hear and internalize these things just as much as women out there. I share the following as a practice of vulnerability. There have been a couple of times where I find myself angry or feeling down because I hear a remark that women often struggle with this or that. I too struggle with these things. I'm sure it is not intended to suggest that men don't struggle with the same things, but rather it is just a struggle particularly recognized with women. I do get over it, but it does hurt in the moment. It feels like a divide between us and that men's struggles (or at least mine) are invalidated. I am not trying to put down, but I hope to build up. I wish to help make you aware that your influence is reaching more people than what I presume(perhaps incorrectly) the intended audience is and we all are in need of these same lessons. I hope this might encourage further growth for your ministry. As a brother, May God bless. P.s. I am open to correction and feedback. I probably have at least a few things wrong. (I feel like this comment is really messy 🙃. I question if it's even helpful. But I'll own it. At the least it's life practice for me, even if poorly. "It is not to the critic, but to the one in the arena")
Your videos help me believe I can and in myself. Thank you for allowing yourself to be used by God!
This is so good
Thank you for waking me up that fear is not from God
