Thank you exact info i needed, was trying to replace without removing the small canopy metal I gave up mostly because the bugs were after me and it was getting dark and still 90 plus degrees. You did good, hope I don't have the fit problem, had mine several years still in good condition but looking sad.

Thank you for the simple, easy instructions. I bought mine at Lowe's but it was close enough! My new cover came with grommets but they are about 12" above the edge, rendering them useless. Thank you again!

I purchased my grill gazebo also at Lowes but I can't find what the brand is so that I can purchase a new canopy. All the pictures that I see are two small.

I’ve had this canopy frame for years. The aluminum is rusting here an there but it’s still standing. I have replaced the canopy about every 3 years for about 12 yrs. Everytime I struggle with that darn top piece. Im old now an should not be on the ladder. I like your moms idea of supervising. Maybe my yard guy will put it on for me. But thanks for the refresher. Houston here.

How do you secure gazebo for wind storms/hurricanes? Btw, nice vid. Always enjoy you and Vicki bantering/informing/ assisting in assembly and disassembly.❤🎉😊

I’ve placed my gazebo legs in buckets and poured cement in them works like a charm does not budge in high winds. Oh I also painted the bucket to match the frame. And this is an after thought you can buy buckets with lids. Cut a hole in the lids slide on the poles first then place poles in bucket and fill with the cement after it’s dry slide the lid on and cover. Prevents water from settling on the open container. I should’ve thought of that when I did mine. Oh well.

In order to prevent rips and pooling of the water. I put grommets along the all 4 sides. In all I have 10-12 grommets. Guess what this is the first time my canopy is ripped and I can use for a2nd summer. Who knows maybe me more as well. I e had my gazebo a couple yrs now and I’ve changed canopies every year.

Get a can of KIWI Camp Dry Heavy Duty Water Repellent. It works like a charm!

Hey, So she mentions that the smaller, top cover didn't fit. Mine did not either so here is what I did - I took off the 4 metal support brackets for that cover, removed the plastic ends (from the end that the cover goes over) shortened them by cutting 1 inch off of each one, replaced the plastic end piece - and bam - the cover fit without any trouble 🙂

Thanks for mentioning this. I took out the rubber ends, double wrapped the ends with heavy duty duct tape, put it all back on (without the rubber ends) and it worked great. Mine was ordered from Menards and there was no second choice of top(s). This was the only one. It was my second replacement and I could never get the new top covers on until now. I had used the original until it was worn out now. Thanks again, for the suggestion.

thank you, I may have that problem tomorrow, I had a hard enough time getting the original on about 5 years ago, I am sure the new one will be too small. It's always something, lol

i was hoping you would be MAKING a new cover. The company told my husband that he could buy a new one for $90 but not refundable. The cover would then be made in China and if it didn't fit, too bad.
