@@mkowalski234 Epic Games doesn't own League of Legends. They got rid of it because of the succes of Fortnite. Paragon wasn't making them much money, but fortnite was. So they put all their money towards fortnite

friend got me into a game called predecessor, apparently it uses most the assets from this game, not sure if it plays the same... but it might.
Love Epic Games, had ton of fun playing Unreal Tournament 4 and Im liking what im seeing.

This looks awesome. I love over the shoulder third person games. I hate the ones where you're looking at everything from above and you click everywhere to move. This game looks a lot more involved and engaging than the existing MOBAs.

I think this is gonna a winner. Cross play between PS4 and PC. One account that has all your progress no matter the platform. Plus it looks incredible to boot. Can't wait to see more of it. Good job Epic Games and welcome (finally) to PlayStation Nation!

Exciting news, its coming back to PS5 and its on PC, called Predecessor
I'm glad this is 3rd person it makes it unique to Battleborn and Overwatch. Based off the trailers I think this looks the best so far, it's similar to LoL which I like.

It's mixed in terms of it being good or not. I had tons of fun with it back in the day, stopped playing it though. But its fun though.

+cavco It is, at its core. Technically even Team Fortress 2 is if you're playing the original game mode.
It is quite a stretch, but yes. It's basically a MOBA, even moreso than TF2. I call it a pseudo moba :D
For now, props for having a combat system that doesn't look like a bunch of figurines smashing against each other.
+Specimen021 For now. Since they did it in a cinematic way with a maximum teamfight of 2v2. But when you have 10 people in one spot spamming explosions like that orange guy, well, you better watch your fps.

Love seeing this. I think Moba's are a brilliant genre design wise but one that's seriously been held back by the fear of change. It's ridiculous to think that 90% of Moba's still play like Warcraft III mods in 2015, especially when that control scheme is the least important factor about what makes it a great game design.

I have a question for those that have the game. It says free to play but in order to play the game it's mandatory to have the starter pack which is $20, how does that work? Even tho the pack is free this month with PS+ just wondering what the starter pack has that makes it mandatory to have it?

Why do we need PS+? I see you guys say PS+ is required on the store page. This game is Free-To-Play with microtransactions. It's basically Warframe. It shouldn't require PS+.

Concil I never made it past the training games in LOL and DOTA. Always meant to go back and play, never did. Still have to Try Smite and Heroes of the Storm.

The fact that they can't actually show organic gameplay makes me think that this is all about the Unreal engine. Don't think there'll be much of a game here.
