Why can’t you make a DC yoke at 4.8 lbs.?

Thank you for the question! Physics does not allow a DC coil to be made at that weight. To run DC you need much larger coils internally than the AC version yoke.

@@Magnaflux2010 thanks. I use an AC/DC yoke of 12.7 lbs using my arm with a torn rotator cuff and arthritic thumb. I have to do it this way because I’m a bad enough shot with the 14AM as it is and can’t do it with the bad arm.

Great idea but the quality is garbage, mine sure didn’t last long. Sucks cause MF used to make great products. Bought one of these when they first came out, used about a week and cord went bad. Opened the housing to replace cord (did not have the quick change version), no O-ring for my housing just a butt load of silicone. After opening the housing and seeing the low quality components utilized, put it back together and it’s sat on the shelf since. Will just keep using Parker products until quality gets better with MF.
