It gives me a lot of mystery dungeon vibes listening to it. Honestly, that is perfect though since I just played the USUM version of this after completing Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity.
To be fair, the trainer theme and wild battle themes are sort of meant to be standard, nothing too epic. I kind of realised that after I got the actual game and melted to this soundtrack.
No, it wasn't. Lanakila is the Victory Road. In Sun and Moon, it was just so recently founded that there aren't any Trainers there yet. Vast Poni Canyon was *not* Victory Road. It was more like the final route *before* Victory Road.
PikaPlayzHD And I thought that the league Alola will be finished only in the second part of the two games were at least such theories, and here the league will be built during our adventures in the region Alola.
PikaPlayzHD So it looks like the Pokemon games the sun and the moon will be badges and leauge and it seems that game developers pokemon sun and moon overthrew all the theories about the league.
Super late response but Mt lankila is the victory road of alola it translates to mount victory and in USUM there’s a lot of trainers and actually looks more like a victory road.
Oh yeah, this theme is FULL of Mystery Dungeon vibes...I miss Mystery Dungeon, it was so good, hopefully they make a new one someday or at least remake PMD2 like they did with Rescue Team.
that whistle or whatever is godly.
It gives me a lot of mystery dungeon vibes listening to it. Honestly, that is perfect though since I just played the USUM version of this after completing Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity.
@@icewizard3664 yeah gives me hella gates to infinity vibes too
I think its a Piccolo... maybe?
Gen 7 music is high tier
I'd say god tier and even that would be falling way short of reality
Hoenn, Sinnoh and Teselia are better
@@austinalvarado9841 wrong skill issue
@@TouhouTrashcan ?
Really? I thought they were mid. I guess I was wrong.
Sarcasm aside, you're half right. The other half goes to the composers who missed the mark.
I love the start so much. It feels like the final chapter is about to unfold as you climb the icy mountain
0:49- 0:53 You sure this isn't Mystery Dungeon OST?!
which one?
I never played mystery dungeon the only theme I know are vs primal dialga and vs any boss at rescue team dx
@@Greenjolty2 years later, but it reminds me of some Gti osts, the flute is really similar (if not the same?)
The early music clips had me worried that the music of Gen VII would be lacking
I'm glad its proved me wrong
To be fair, the trainer theme and wild battle themes are sort of meant to be standard, nothing too epic.
I kind of realised that after I got the actual game and melted to this soundtrack.
Skittle Gamer
I actually like "Wild Battle" music
@@minupakumarasinghe4119 same! (im 7 yrs late lol) but its upbeat and exciting and really fits alola!
sounds very mystery dungeon-like. awesome!
random guy Especially 0:49- 0:53
Mount Lanakila
Lanakila is Hawaiian for Victory
Mount Victory.
Nice touch, since Alola is based off of Hawaii!
Still, easily the easiest Victory Road.
@@gracegiver4920 b/w b2/w2 had the easiest and the ugliest xd
@@GigaChadThe69th sword and shield was overall a pretty easy game.
@da ea(r)th people gen 8 "victory road" lol
I miss the actual dungeons like there were in gens 1-6 with caves and routes and especially victory road
best victory road theme!!!!
Shortest victory road tho.
Johto was the shortest.
UberTuberBackPacker No, Alola was the shortest by a lot.
Technically, the Alola's victory road was the road for catch Solgaleo/Lunala.
No, it wasn't. Lanakila is the Victory Road. In Sun and Moon, it was just so recently founded that there aren't any Trainers there yet. Vast Poni Canyon was *not* Victory Road. It was more like the final route *before* Victory Road.
When this theme played and Gladion came down from the elevator, it was really epic.
I love this theme ❤️
It's great, tied with Hoenn's as my favorite Victory Road themes
Love this Generation so much😭
I do not care. Gen 7 is MASSIVELY overhated and its OST is AMAZING!!!!
Agreed, I love how unique it is from other games
I always hear this music during a long travel or before an important test on my university.
best Victory Road theme
This is good but BW2 victory road theme is much better
this theme gives me goosebumps
This song says "you've shown everything whose boss but there's still one challenge left"
Ok but can we talk about 0:37 though🔥🔥🔥
I PR'd my bench to this
holy fuck now this theme impressed me, good shit
This songs hits different when listening to it during a snowstorm
This is my favorite victory road theme
anyone else think goosebumps immediately
Vast Poni canyon feels more like Victory Road than Mt. Lanakila due to the size of the area and having more trainers.
It's the final route *before* Victory Road.
It's supposed to be, lanakila is only really victory road by name
@@bigdiglett3258 unless you played the Ultra version which DOES have trainers in it. there's so much the second version puts in than the base game.
@@bigdiglett3258 In SM, it's empty for a reason. The Alola League was only just established. And in USUM, it's full of Trainers.
Am I the only one thinking this music has some Zelda vibes at 0:47?
0:47 Kinda gives me goosebumps and is awesome to hear when getting closer to the League/top of Mount Lanakila :3
Una amenaza se aproxima, pero tu iras con valentia a enfrentarte a ella.
There's no trainers, just tall grass... Kukui what the fuck
le panda The road to Lunala had a lot of trainers. I tink these was the Alola's victory road.
The Pokémon league WAS new, so not many people have heard of it yet.
@@jesusislordandlovesyou3853 A late response, but it was not.
demuestra preoucupacion, quieres salir rapido ademas... te pone ancioso porque despues viene la liga
Crabominable my beloved
It was boring in sun and moon because there were no trainers but in usum they added trainers to this and it was more fun
1:38 best "Switch Up" note!
Alola Leauge is confirmed?
yes, it's built while you're on your trial journey and after you've completed the Island Challenge it's finally built and you can challenge it
PikaPlayzHD And I thought that the league Alola will be finished only in the second part of the two games were at least such theories, and here the league will be built during our adventures in the region Alola.
Champion Karol it seems the theories were incorrect and it plays into the end game
PikaPlayzHD So it looks like the Pokemon games the sun and the moon will be badges and leauge and it seems that game developers pokemon sun and moon overthrew all the theories about the league.
Champion Karol no, there are no gym badges, it basically follows the Island Challenge Rules
Crabrawlers rejoice over this theme
It sounds like a soldiers movie soundtrack
HERE WE GO KIDS
1:02 I hear sinnoh league
0:39
Pretty good
i keep hearing pokemon md in this
Alola or Johto Victory Road?
Alola for those who's looking for the Alola Champion Stadium (Explore) Theme

Expected to visit you here
Reminds me or kirby and 0:32 reminds me of x and y
I don't like the 7G, but I love this music.
For the first 5 seconds, can someone tell me which instruments were being played?
Piano, followed by a synth sample of a celesta, with added snow effects
It's actually better than rhe hoenn one
like a queen-killer :P
This is TOO sad for a Victory Road theme.
Lass Ellie sounds like a tragedy is incoming.
In no way is this music sad
Mount lanakila theme* it's not a victory road.
It IS the victory road of Alola thoughz
Super late response but Mt lankila is the victory road of alola it translates to mount victory and in USUM there’s a lot of trainers and actually looks more like a victory road.
I am so happy to see PMD fans here since this music feels like it belongs to Pokemon Mystery Dungeon
