David Taylor has had so much success at all levels finishing leg attacks from his knees. Problem is he ran into a guy in Kyle Dake who is better at defending from those positions than Taylor is at finishing. Taylor has yet to make the simple adjustment of getting to the leg AND lifting it very high coming to BOTH feet immediately then working to the finish. Until he makes this adjustment, he has little chance to beat Dake when trying to finish takedowns from his knees, this is in Dake's wheel house, he's too good there. Have to make this adjustment now before April's Trials.
@@guysmalley lol he is joking. As this guy is giving like basic middle school wrestling technique advice to david taylor to beat dake lol. All in good fun though
Taylor looked good, I think Taylor will win their next match. If Taylor didn't let dake get that trap arm in the beginning it would've been a lot closer, Taylor also needs to work on his stamina and build a little more muscle and he'll have dakes number for sure.
+Carlito Brigante He can't beat Burroughs either. When Burroughs is done, Taylor needs to get out of whatever weight class Dake is in if he wants to succeed in the international scene. Also, if I was Dake I'd move down to 65 when Burroughs retires. Dake seems small at 86.
+Garrett1240 so like a few years from now after growing into his weight some more in his late 20's he is supposed to go from 189 to 143. Seems legit. I'd understand the possibility of 74 again but i dont see him going back to what he weighed as a freshman in college.
MrCharityGaming My bad, I'm talking about 165 pounds, not 65 kg. Dake should only be wrestling at 74 kg. I stupidly shortened 165 lbs to 65. I meant 165 lbs (74kg) the whole time.
The point they made Kyle not giving af about faking tough body language was spot on.
If Taylor and dake don't get passed Jordan Burroughs and j'den Cox, college will be the pinnacle of their success.
Now they are both world champions.

FightingSheep1 I beat Dake like a drum in practice. Sweep single, shelf, and double off is all I use.
Jon Propes in your fucking dreams. I guess I miss you in this tournament

Excellent commentary!!! Good Job
And now they’re both world champions, that’s crazy
Nos olympians!
86 kg?
Two wrestling Greats!
you guys using a drone to shoot this?
+vega269 No, but it looks like they are using a crane.
2:55 can't believe Dake was able to come out on top there wtf
This is freestyle right
I think both are gonna wrestle each other when they are seniors since they have long history together
Dake is just too good..
+Cole's World Burroughs OWNS Dake.
+Frank Maltese heh. an overtime victory isn't really "owning"
Randall Young owns the bitch
+Randall Young Last time they wrestled Burroughs tech'd Dake in under 2 minutes
Training with Dake has to be Taylor’s biggest mistake. Dake must have keyed in on major tendencies Taylor has in most positions.

This didn’t hold up. Maybe if he works on his stamina even more and builds even more muscle...what do you think?
@@Otdier doubling the musclestamania could be effective, but what if he triple-dipped it...?
motoz30... now you’re talking. That should do it.
Taylor needs to hit the weight room, he looks mushy soft at that weight, not cut at all, cant finish a move because he is weak
Taylor is strong not weak its just kyle dake is just better at defense then davids offensive
Can't believe Taylor ran out of gas like that. But then again, Dake is a different breed of cat!
+funnyman6869 Burroughs OWNS Dake.
