You can always try to soften the slime with citric acid or vegetable glicerine or hair gel or lotion + vinegar or drops of natural lemon juice 🥤 . By I think the hair gel will turn stiff slimes back to it’s glory! Hair gel and mix + stretch + massage= great end texture

The way you described the first slime and how it looks reminds me of when people put the stuff in diapers into a slime. Someone described it as being similar to a cloud slime, but denser. Maybe that's what they did instead of fake snow? I mean, diapers are easier to find than fake snow, I think.
