the background footage of concerts is just so fitting. Went to a DG concert this year and when this song came on people went absolutely crazy, like 10 different moshpits opened up and people were dancing, fighting, basically anything you could ever do in a moshpit.
Might be my favorite DG song ever. A day hasn’t gone by since this dropped where I haven’t listened to this song. It’s uplifting, fun, energetic, layered, has an amazingly hypnotic drum beat and some great lyrics. Never thought they’d top Come Up and Get Me but this song is certainly giving it a run for its money. If Come Up and Get Me is the song you take on 50 soldiers with, this is the song that gets you out of that funk you’ve been in for 6 months. If the band reads this please keep pushing the envelop! No matter how experimental or strange it’s always going to be amazing. You guys have changed my life for the best. Please come to one of Madison/Milwaukee/Chicago next US tour, can’t wait to see you all again!

Charlie Coutu I humbly disagree. It might grow on me and I do actually like most of the songs, but listening to the entire album in one sitting, it kinda just sounds like a mess. The mixing is amateurish by DG standards and most of the hooks are also weak in comparison to other DG songs. These things, however, don't stop me from enjoying the album. As I said, I like the songs on here with two exceptions (The Horn Section and Little Richard) This one definitely demands more listens simply because the album is just so erratic and never goes for just one sound. Without a doubt the most ambitious DG album imo

Flies, Death Grips is Online, hahaha, Shitshow, Streaky, Linda’s in Custody, and The Fear are now some of my favorite Death Grips songs ever, and even the songs I don’t like as much are pretty good. I’ve gotten used to the mixing issue, which I do still think is pretty pervasive throughout the LP, but at the end of the day, I think this is going to be one of the more talked about Death Grips records after a few years, simply because of how outlandish it is, even by Death Grips standards. Even when compared to The Money Store and The Powers That b, I think this stands out in its own way, and it’s hard to ignore the sounds here that Death Grips hadn’t really experimented with until this album

In terms of songs, this is like my fourth favourite album with some if the weirdest tracks like hahaha and flies to Streaky and Lindas in custody.
