running over the guy on the least lap to take the lead, classic. reminds me of a time when i had to run my turbo optima 4wd in the 2wd class one day because of a light turn out, was placed at the back of the pack at the start. race started and i ran over 4 cars to get to turn one first, lol never looked back. that was 1987 my first rc race season
That was brilliant👍 Great to watch a monster truck rip around the track and TBF it handled better than some modern stuff. Ps I bet you used several tubes of tyre sauce😁👍👍👍
6:00 This is the most lovely tires I’ve ever seen. I want the same on my Gorgon ! Can you tell me what they are please ? Big salut 🫡 from France !! ViNZ.
looked a little bouncy. i know the big tires probably has something to do with it. i know your trying to keep it from rolling but i bet if you lightened up on the shock oil a bit and/or maybe a tad lighter spring i bet it would be pretty planted. its fun to watch a monster truck beat buggys around the track.
Nice work as always. I dunno, I reckon you could use less grip in the corners, and maybe a tire weight or two somewhere to get the COG down. ButwaddoIknow....
Looks like that monster truck has parallel steering (0% Ackerman). I notice it turns in pretty damn hard (on a loaded turn/while braking and doesn't understeer like some buggies seem to do. Unless you coast, then it seems to push a bit, but if your either on throttle or on the brakes, in just CRANKS in like a MF. Makes you wonder if modifying the knuckles on a buggy to have less Ackerman (most RCs look like they have full 100% Ackerman with the kingpin to tierod point converging a the center of the rear axle) would give you a turning advantage. Most full-scale cars run less than 100% Ackerman, especially sports and supercars(I've read a few articles of modded track day/autocross cars running between 40%-60% Ackerman). Drifters with angle kits run all the way up to parallel steering, and Formula series cars even run ANTI-Ackerman to get the most out of their tires/downforce. Just... Another thing to look into. In addition to the narrow front track and the rear motor setup with the same overall W/D as a mid-motor car idea.
As a former local RC Monster Truck 1/10 Scale Pro-Mod points race champ in the Mid-Ohio Valley, that's some awesome racing!! Way to go!!
Now this is the kind of RC racing I can get into. Anything goes!
You know, running an MT in Sportsman opens up a new way to pass people - by driving over them. XD
Hahaha so fun! Imagine a whole class of MTs
I remember when it was losi LST monster trucks on the tracks. Still got 3 of them. Now I have 3 LMTs.

That was way cool to watch. Well done
Oh man, I really needed that! Freakin hilarious 🤣
Every race should just have a random monster truck on the track running laps.
😂
do I sense a revival of the MT class?! that LMT looks good out there, even as it rolls!
Lol that was fun to watch
Meatball is the fastest sandwich at any track!
It looked like a lot of fun.

I need to wear a back pack tire sauce sprayer with this thing.
Great video

They are the stock LMT tires. I ground and sanded the tread off. Thank you!
@@mxacres oh ok !!!!!! Very nicely done 👍

This ends the long and heated debate whether two wheel cornering and popping wheelies leads to fast and stable driving. They do.
Too much sauce on them slumdog😂😂
I only used 1.5 gallons.

Where is the monster truck class? Oh I think it’s right there. Bahahahaha
What did you place?
2nd. Little spider monkey kid with a wheeler beat me. Next time I’m monster truckin that kid!😂
Nice video. 😂😂
