Onkyo T-9090II FM Super Tuner Demonstration (High Quality Sound)

Video was captured using a regular digital camera. The audio, however, was recorded separately and taken directly from the tuner's output. It was encoded to PCM 44.1 kHz /16 bits resolution.

I have the Onkyo T-9090 tuner. Its one of the best tuners i ever heard.
The thing i would tell you, the T-9090 sounds much better on Narrow then Wide.
On Wide the sound was to bright. On Narrow, the sound was perfect

El McIntosh MC2205 es un diseno algo viejo y tiene limitaciones en cuanto al bandwidth. Era la filosofia de diseno de McIntosh en aquellos tiempos. Tuve uno y me gustaba bastante, pero sonaba algo restringido en las frecuencias altas. El Marantz 8B de tubos tiene mejor respuesta en el rango alto.

Yo tengo el M508 y es muy bueno, me gusta más que el Mcintosh 2205.
