Awesome job, Tina! You could actually turn this into a job and design people’s homes. I’d be your first customer 🙋♀️ You have a very keen eye and exceptional taste!
Wow, thank you so much!! This is such a compliment! 🥰 That would be a dream to decorate other people's spaces in the future. I would love that so much 😍
It's so great to see a space that's actually relatable when it comes to size 😍 so many home decor RUclipsrs always work with massive rooms and completely disregard the fact that that's not what most people's homes are like 🤣
Makes the small space sophisticated but in an understated way. You minimized the furniture, hid the clutter in appropriate storage, and added all the little artwork and plants, and light-filtering curtains. But what's really nice is the color and that's prob the hardest for most people. The dark gray cube tv stand gave way to a rich brown one that looks so much nicer, and complementary/functional coffee table. The rug really pulls it together, with red tones and matching sofa pillows, and that golden woven ball as an accent color but it picks up on the basket weave materials!! Gives the place a high end feel. Great design/decor choices. Where's the kitchen??
You should switch the tv and sofa walll.... Keep the middle slider and arrange the television there that will give u alot of space to enter into ur bedroom... add a acent chair balcony side wall... I hope u will like my suggestion
Actually the round knitted pillow grew on me, by the time I added a comment and read the piece about make Ng those doors look like windows I realized I just plain Love your Astetics.. 😍💘💕🥰
Tina you are so talented with your decor looks great you can take any pieces of furniture and make it look very expensive adding some colors also makes a big difference everything looks great.
I knew I would love the makeover even before you completed it! The art wall is perfect and the multi colored abstract looks so much like something you would paint. You should be so proud of your accomplishments. Making a small room look open and spacious yet warm and cozy takes real talent! Jo
That couch is great as it's so versatile, could you hang net curtains on front of sliding door then add a curtain of warm fairy lights behind that, the glow would be defused and really romantic at night.( think I saw it on Pinterest somewhere) 😍😍😍😘
OMG! I'm SO glad RUclips suggested this video! I'm more of a rustic / boho style and my boyfriend is more of a mid century modern kind of guy. This is such a wonderful way to mesh the two together! Amazing work!
Awwww, you are too sweet!! 🥰 I am very happy with how much I could fit in this small space and glad it could give you some inspo. Thanks so much, Samantha 😍💖
You are super talented Tina. When I'm faced with so many choices I normally end up buying nothing. You did amazing pulling this scheme together. Your skin is flawless. Would like to know what foundation you use 😊💕
Oh wow when you said "I just got home from work " I checked how many subscribers you have and it's only 65,000?? I thought u would have like AT LEAST 500,000, just look at ur editing, that seriously is chef's kiss!!
Looks beautiful! That sliding glass into your bedroom is very strange! I have never seen that before. I think because you have bought in a lot of warmth to your living room that glass looks really cold! I would try a peel n stick wallpaper for it to cover the glass, maybe not a pattern or anything but maybe an off white\warm tone to soften those panels! I really like the console table with the plants on it! Such a lovely warm tone!
I agree, but I think the better choice is to do a window film. Most window films only take some water to apply and are very suitable for smooth surfaces. More importantly, a lot of them are (semi-)transparent, so Tina can still have daylight coming into the bedroom through the sliding doors. I think a film that slightly changes the tone or a film that mattifies the doors, would make all the difference. Trina could also do an accent wall with it: you can get all kinds of custom sized and printed window film.
I totally get what you mean by this! The glass has a slight blue tint, so it is very apparent with all the warm tones in it now. I'm definitely planning on updating it without completely covering the glass, since I really love the light that comes into our bedroom from it. Thanks for the suggestion, Lauren! I'm glad you liked the makeover 🧡

NOW THAT YOU'RE IN LA FINE A GOOD YERBARILLA (I KNOW I CHOPPED UP THAT NAME), THEY HAVE ALOT OF HERBS, SPICES FOR TEAS AND ANCIENT HEALING HERBS. I USE THEM FOR COLORING FABRIC! I got the sheer curtains you recommended for my really big window in our living room and i love it!! Love how it gives some height, privacy, and just makes the room look cozy!
Tina, this might be a wild idea, but what if you use peel and stick wall paper on the sliding doors? You could get one with a warm tone vibe with maybe a black accent so you can keep with the trim of them... what do you think?? Also I love the warm tone rug! I’ve been wanting a colorful rug for ages but I’m so nervous I’ll get sick of it!
Omg just heard you say the thing about the light coming in your room at the end 🤦🏼♀️ lol!! What if you did the wallpaper and then opened the doors during the day to get the light comin in? I know it would look weird but I think the wallpaper would look so good!
I’m definitely trying to figure out what I wanted to do with the sliding doors and wanna update it! I have heard a bunch of great ideas, so I appreciate this girl!! 🥰 I think after the holidays, I’ll get around to it 💖
You absolutely nailed the cozy + homey vibe! I just want to cuddle up on that chaise, wrap myself in that blanket, and watch a movie. Can't wait to the rest of your apartment makeovers 😍
I love it! I have the same tv stand from Target. I purchased it a month ago on sale. You’re right it’s heavy!! The delivery man had to bring it in for me and it took me hours to put together but I love that it’s actual wood. I’m going to have to look into the coffee table. It’s perfect. I also purchased some end table lamps from Target like the one you have (Geneva glass globe) reminds me of the West Elm ones for a fraction of the price. Love the outcome. Great job!😘
I found the command hook sticky pieces for the backs in a size that says each holds 16 pounds each. I bet they would fit your window treatment hooks and hold them for sure. !!
Love love everything ,the curtain with the hook are amazing ! But just a thought You could’ve gone a lil more higher then the window height so you can extend it for the door,it will give you the feels of higher ceiling ...
I 100% agree! That was my original plan and I actually filmed a whole explanation that I bought too short of curtains 🙈 But I didn’t include it in the video! Definitely planning on updating them with longer curtains so I can put them up higher 😇
It looks so good! I love it! I had a thought?: maybe adding a round rug (they tend to be pricier) might counter all of the sharp angles you have as a result of all your furniture having to be closer together bc of the smaller space ..and.. I dunno if you can, but painting the frame of the sliding doors a funky bright color might help? I have a feeling the black is "cutting" your space. Congrats!
I heard a hack that if you put your curtain rod all the way to the ceiling it will give the illusion of a bigger room! If you ever want to try that too :) love the video!!
