I agree. Does deserve a revzilla orange star. Just bought this jacket yesterday at dainese oc store and was impressed at everything. Especially the white color so i can be visible.
Great vid again Thank You ! I have a 2015 GS - all decked out. Was going to get the BMW GS Motorrad or the pricier Rallye suit. I live in SC- but always dreaming of the big trans states trip. How do you feel this fare with these. Have to say I have the Sidi Adventure boots - and my Wife IS Italian........ Big money to make a big mistake?
I watch these videos instead of watching Netflix. How many times do we have to hear Anthony say, 'welcome to rezilla TV where you can decide, watch, and ride.." ?
Yes, Dainese uses the same gauge of zipper between the two so they will connect up. If you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to our Gear Geeks at cs@revzilla.com or 877.792.9455. Ride safe, -Pat
Ahaha I think you've coined a new phrase. 'The Colorado pouch' Tough decision for me. This or the Revit Sand but I'd like GTX in the Sand. Also, It should be law that all textile jackets have a 'loop back' for the collar. Great videos BTW. Best bike gear vids on the net.
Hi Vis, your beard would have been acceptable in the US Navy until about 1986. When the Navy decided to faze out the beard, some of the hard liners went bananas (just a little beard history). Revzilla, can I stop by your store and get all my gear fitted before I buy it and then have everything shipped to my home?
+1AmericanInAsia Yes, you can get everything fitted but only if it's already in stock at the showroom. You can use our boutique search feature to check stock. www.revzilla.com/philadelphia-gear-boutique -DrewZilla
+Nil Rides Dainese does not make Sandstorm Pants, so the best option would be the D-Explorer Gore-Tex Pants. Like the Sandstorm Jacket, the D-Explorer Pants have both a removable Gore-Tex liner and removable thermal liner. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/dainese-d-explorer-gore-tex-pants
Dainese cut a corner on this and makes it a borderline POS jacket. I just bought this jacket last week. The chest vents in the video have velcro across the bottom to secure the patch of cloth. Newer version only has velcro in the corner. So the bottom portion allows air in causing puffy jacket at highway speeds and makes riding in cooler temps significantly more cold. If I add velcro myself I void the warranty. Argh!
+Dalibor Pejovic You can pair the jacket with any of Dainese's waterproof pants (rvz.la/1SCK3M6). As for boots, I'll recommend the same four I listed as a reply to your other comment, the Dainese Latemar, Fulcrum, Long Range, and Tempest waterproof boots. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/dainese-latemar-gore-tex-boots *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/dainese-fulcrum-c2-gore-tex-boots *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/dainese-long-range-d-wp-c2-boots *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/dainese-tempest-d-wp-boots
The zips on the cuff have ruined my tank :( My old cheap-ass jacket had flaps over the cuff zips with rubberised buttons :/ Those 'useless little pockets' on the front are perfect for keys, or a pack of tissues or whatever - way easier to access quickly than the waterproof pockets above.
+Shtjefen Kerhani One isn't better than the other. The Sandstorm has a removable Gore-Tex waterproof liner, whereas the Carve Master has a fixed, non-removable Gore-Tex waterproof liner. -DrewZilla
+Katarzyna Jasik There is no Women's Sandstorm Jacket, but the men's version does go down to a Euro 44 size. Light-colored pants would be the D-Explorer Pants. The closest Gore-Tex women's jacket and pants from Dainese are the Women's Zima Jacket and Women's Travelguard Pants. For lighter-color women's options, consider the REV'IT! Women's Sand, the Alpinestars Stella Andes, and the Alpinestars Stella Amok/Sonoran Air. +RevZilla As always big thanks you guys for suggestions. I must admit I love Dainese, all my stuff is theirs, so it would be awesome to keep it up. But I will take a look at all the stuff you mentioned! :)
+Dean Nicholas The Sandstorm would be a great option for a cross-country trip in all conditions. -DrewZilla
Well done guys. Watching lots of video reviews on youtube; you guys make the best, most technical and professional shot videos on youtube. top work!

Hi Revzilla, would this jacket fit a pair of Dainese D-Explorer 2 Gore tex Pants, please!? Thanks and keep up the great work you’re doing! 👍

Hello
160 pounds
42 inch chest
5,8 foot
What size is good for me?
Thanks
Best regards
Most likely size 52 given your chest size. -DrewZilla
Is is this beather jacket than ,Dainese Carve Master gore-tex?
+Shtjefen Kerhani One isn't better than the other. The Sandstorm has a removable Gore-Tex waterproof liner, whereas the Carve Master has a fixed, non-removable Gore-Tex waterproof liner. -DrewZilla
The next motorcycle review should be done Mad Max style with HVB aka "Blood Bank" tied to the front of a Honda Grom.
+Jules-Frederic Nerestant How do you know we haven't already done that? ;) -DrewZilla
Are there lady versions or should I just as always don't count on it too much? Any pants in the same, light colors?
