No bunnies, no eggs, I feel sorry for Chinese 🇨🇳 people under the CCP.

How about everybody just lighten up and let the kids enjoy the day?

Look up the Irish creature called a Pooka. The creature is neither good nor bad. One of the forms is a rabbit that lays eggs that bring good fortune or something along that lines.
ALL of our ‘holidays’ are commercialized. They mean nothing anymore, especially when sugar coated with candy, flowers and gifts.
So no one's going to mention the couple tales about Eostre? The first one being that she came across a bird that got maimed, so she took pity on it and turned it into a "four legged mammal". The other one being that there was this bird that laid these extremely beautiful eggs and she was jealous of it, so she transformed the bird into - wait for it - a rabbit that still had the ability to lay eggs!
Global News demonstrates its journalistic skills by asking about the Easter bunny and Easter eggs. Did they think of explaining Eid al-Fitr or Holi to Canadians? No.
Huh?

Nothing is just a money gimmick just like all the Holidays, there was a time when most all stores were closed on Sunday because it was the day off the sabbath for the Lord. People have lost traditional ways for the money.
what is the point of easter? no one cares
It's the celebration of spring, the REAL new year. Even non religious people used to celebrate it. The celebration of newness and planting new seeds, on all levels.
@Social.Media.Is.A.Weapon. I celebrate spring, I am not particularly religious.
