UPDATE: With help from @KeySpyMaster, the exact release date of Kingdom Hearts Digital Painter has been confirmed to be somewhere in January 7-14, 2012.
I just wanted to say I really appreaciate you documenting miscellanious and random kh media and games, I dont want any of them to be forgotten and its really awesome to see games like vcast and magical puzzle clash even if they are somewhat obscure lol, I am also glad you have managed to get more attention on the platform last time i checked you had 286 subscribers so congrats on 1k! but thank for doing media archiving for the kh series and may your heart be your guiding key
It does have the KH2 logo brush though, so if it does predate it, it was probably made when it was in active development. 2009 at the earliest is so far after KH2's release though that it is kinda conspicuous how absent of KH2 stuff it is, another explanation is that whoever made it were only given KH1 and Chain of Memories assets to work with, for whatever reason.

Hey so idk if you knew, but there was a collaboration between Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy Record Keeper it was a “big” deal and Sora, Riku, Roxas and Axel were playable characters. They had mini games with the gummi ship that were released prior to the event release, and points were accumulated by the community leading up to the event leading to rewards in both Union Cross and Record Keeper!
I drew and animated on Disney create everyday after shcool❤ I made Sora into a wolf so many damn times 😅 And remember playing with all the pens and stamps! I miss it!

I find it interesting that almost all of the art assets and references predate KH2. Maybe this game is older than we think.

Yep! The gummi ship mini-game is on my list to cover eventually (though I'm admittedly less familiar with the FFRK half of things)
