Our bodies that we are in now we bury or cremate and to dust they go when we die...our spirit gets a new incorruptible body that either goes to heaven or hell. Our bodies we are in now, will someday wear out and pass away, but our spirit does not.
I love my husband more than I ever knew I could love anyone. I’ve spent so much time worrying about whether or not I will remember him when we’re both in heaven. I want to know that I will recognize him and remember our history, even if the concept of marriage will not exist there. I don’t want to imagine a reality where my husband and I don’t have the bond that we have here. I know we won’t have the exact same relationship as we do here but I want to believe we will remember how special we were to each other here on earth. I’ve also spent a lot of time worrying that I’ll never see my cats again. My past cats and my current cats. Thank you for this video!
Jesus didnt say we wont be married. He said people wont marry, nor be given in marriage. That is present tense, not past tense. Jesus is taking about leverite marriage where you are not marrying by choice or for love. It is arranged marriage to protect the bloodline. That type of marriage is no longer needed as the Messiah came and os risen from the dead. Also we now in most faiths have a covenantal marriage between our spouses and Jesus. We dont msrry again because we do not die. When jesus speaks of death, he is referring to the second death.
@@juliapintexas1845 Julia just hit a home run! I wish many of these pastors that are misleading people through their misinterpretations of Matthew 22 would refrain from misleading followers of Christ and contributing to their excessive grief. 1 Peter 3:7
Pray he is right about the pets. It is hard to understand the magnitude of Heaven. I don't think I will ever really understand until I am there. Thanks for a great episode.
I love hearing more about heaven. I've had lots of questions about it myself and I look forward to hearing more. I cannot wait to talk with our LORD, walk with him, hug him etc. For those of you that worry about what will happen or are scared for any reason, hopefully this will help... just like we have faith and know that JESUS died on the cross for us. we believe in the Bible and what it says, just remember, GOD says those of us that go to heaven will be the happy. Have faith and know in your hearts that we will be just that. He already has a plan for us and I believe with all my heart, we will be the happiest one could ever be. I have a version in my heart of what heaven will be like but you know what? GOD says it'll be better than what one could even imagine. Now that my friends, is something to look forward to. GOD bless each and everyone of you and may peace fill each and every heart💕💕💕💕
The road to heaven is narrow and few will enter. Many want to go to heaven but never go to church. Many pray for God to help them. Yet never pray when things are good. Many pray, God I need money. But never leave money in the donation plate. Salvation is only possible because of God. Salvation is not guaranteed. Few will enter into the Kingdom of God. Something to think about.
Nice thought. But not scriptural. (Psalm 37:29) The righteous will possess the EARTH, And they will live FOREVER ON IT. The term everlasting life may come to mind (John 3:16, 17:3).
My son's teacher was sad because her dog died. She questioned about the dog going to heaven and animals being in heaven. My son (3rd grade) piped up and said, "Well, Jesus comes back on a horse!"
I'd like to think that all of our beloved passed on pets are amalgamated into one heavenly animal that can transform into whatever animal form that we long for at any given moment. But then I also have to entertain the possibility that the whole gambit of life, death, and resurrection in the biblical sense is all wishful thinking and when we go, we are gone. Lights out.
i lost my 2 dogs in december, thats total of 5 ...i love them like my children and no more tears in heavem, so that means i will see them one day again
I went through all the scripture speaking of these things when my Dads Dogue (Dogue de Bordeaux) passed. I’ve seen my old friend Dyson in a dream he gave me what I can only say is a proper hug that I needed I ❤️ed it, thank you Jesus for that encounter.
My incredible husband of 23 years passed away unexpectantly and suddenly 3 weeks ago. Love to hear about heaven and eternity to help get me through this shock. Glad I found your channel. ❤️
I want all my animals with me. I hope my brother is with them. I miss him so much. It’s hard to live life without him. Family and holidays are not the same anymore.
Randy Alcorn (“Heaven”), the man in the Interview. Phenomenal, nothing without a scriptural reference, similar to Wayne Grudem’s Systematic Theology, but all about The Kingdom Come.
I used to panic wondering what would happen to my animals. Then I heard Billy Graham say “God will prepare everything for our perfect happiness in Heaven, and if it takes my dog being there, I believe he’ll be there.”
Jesus blessed children and animals. Dogs and little ones were not cherished in those times. This was another example of Jesus teaching compassion on the “least of these.”
Billy Graham will not be in Heaven. He was a 33 Mason and a satanic child sacrificer.. He was NOT who we believed him to be. Research Fiona Barnett who he trafficked. 😢
Wouldn't this be a case of building castles in the sky. Humans do not leave this earth unless with a space suit and oxygen supplies. (Psalm 37:29) The righteous will possess THE EARTH, And they will LIVE FOREVER ON OT. Stay on earth. Pun intended.
Is it really heaven if our loved ones are not our loved ones. I miss my son and my husband that have passed. To me that is heaven.I truly hope my sweet husband and I are still married in heaven.
Loved your book Heaven Randy. I do have a different views on certain things. But you gave me such excitement about what awaits us using tons of Biblical scripture to show me why. Also, continued prayers for you and your family after your wife went Home to be with the Lord. Though we rejoice in the knowledge the separation is still painful. I love the lyric “the pain reminds the heart that this is NOT our home”.
Great episode. I love hearing about heaven. I love reading the last book in the chronicles of Narnia where they don’t realize they’ve gone to heaven - it’s similar to where they were but they can move from place to place in an instant and it’s so beautiful and full of peace. Oh what a day that will be. 😊🙌
Since humans in general do not get to leave this earth and go anywhere unless with a space suit and oxygen supplies, why worry. (Psalm 37:29) The righteous will possess the earth, And they will live forever on it.
Heaven is a temporary abode till the new heaven and the new earth come. I’ve had a near death experience and been and this guy answering is right about everything he said. The new heaven and the new earth is going to be what god originally intended for when he started creation. So yes, there will be marriage, but a marriage like Adam and Eve had originally prior to the fall of man. It will be a marriage that has GOD at the center of it.
@@tongakhan230,Jesus will return, collect the saved souls and turn the earth into a garden for a thousand years, then you will ascend to heaven. This I have read in the Bible.I have read the bible, mormon bible, the forgotten books of the bible and the history of religion. Some of the things scared me. There is at least five versions of the bible and they are all different!
I took two orphaned hybrid ducks into my home and heart shortly after the death of my Dad. They were half domestic ( Pekin) and half wild. Their mother and siblings had been eaten by an alligator. I raised them from just a few days old until they were able to fly. There really was no containing them unless I clipped their wings, and I didn't have the heart for that. They were the joy of my life! But one night I had a dream. I rarely dream but this one was so very real. The ducks were flying together in a bright blue sky above my head. And they were smiling in the way that ducks do. I felt so peaceful. I woke up the next morning to find they had been killed by predators. ( Likely coyotes). I was upset but I felt the dream was a message from God, telling me that the ducks were with him in heaven.
I have always thought we would have our pets in Heaven, and not just the ones who have suffered. Even though all of mine have suffered because they live to old age. I know the Bible doesn't really talk about it, or I should say people have come to the conclusion that our pets will not be in Heaven, but I really like the way Randy Alcorn described it. It would be just like God to do that for us because he loves us so much!
This is so up lifting, thank you for this! I also heard that in Heaven no one is over the age of 33?? The same age Jesus was when He died on the cross.
Amen! I’ve always believed that we will ALL be the same age as Jesus was when He received His glorified body! It only makes perfect sense. I just can’t wait!!!
If the answer is not in scripture, then you are correct. Of course we should search the Word for ourselves to confirm or refute, but he does back up his answers with the Word of God.
We don't stay in the ground. After we die. After death we transition to the other side. And yes our pets are there. Our children we lose and miscarry are there and continue to grow.
Both my parents died in their 50's from rare cancers in 2021. I believe my dad was taken with my mother to be together in heaven. He was playing baseball with his grandkids in october and got sick in december and died in may. Their love was so bright and special, they could not exist in this realm without the other
You would rather still be married to your wife than Christ? People do not realize but there is no gender in heaven. We are all feminine. Yes guys!! You will be feminine bc Christ is the groomsmen and we are His bride.
@@papatravels61 I’ve been taught very well by my Father. And you have to think spiritually not physically. If Christ is the groom and He’s coming for His bride, what is a bride? Bride is feminine not masculine. If you’re one of Gods elect you are feminine in a spiritual sense. Yes, you will look the same as you do now but younger. But you will be feminine. Like I said, you need to think spiritually. There is no gender. Why does God refer to Jerusalem as a she? Why is wisdom a she? Better get to thinking. Gods word goes a lot deeper than people think. So I’m not going to argue with you on this at all. You’ll see.
@@papatravels61 where in the Bible does it say a woman is not to preach or teach? You are wrong again. You’ve not been taught the word of God. Go get you a Strongs Concordance Exhaustive Dictionary and look up the word Greek word Bride and silence. You will find bride is female and will find that speak is to chatter. That goes for men, women and children. You’re not supposed to talk while the word is being taught. Now, you go tell God that women are not to teach or preach, bc He said in the last days, your sons and daughters will prophesies. Many women in the Bible taught Gods word. Abigail, Mariam, Deborah, Hannah, Rachel, Rebecca, and Ruth that’s just a few. So, you wanna say women are not to teach the word of God? Then I guess you better take that up with our Father bc there are many who know the truth and we’re chosen to spread the truth. And it’s obvious that you don’t know the truth.
@@papatravels61 the Bible was written in Hebrew and Greek. And no, I’m not catholic I’m a follower of Jesus Christ. So, if you’re saying women are not to teach, I suggest you go take that up with our Father. It’s obvious that you weren’t taught about the women of the Bible and I can understand that. So here are you some scriptures to go read. Acts 2:16 - 18 16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; 17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: 18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: Judges 4:4 KJV “And Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lapidoth, she judged Israel at that time.” Acts 21:9 “And the same man had four daughters, virgins, which did prophesy.” Luke 2:36 “And there was one Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Aser: she was of a great age, and had lived with an husband seven years from her virginity;” Exodus 15:20 “And Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a timbrel in her hand; and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dances.” 2 Kings 22:14 “So Hilkiah the priest, and Ahikam, and Achbor, and Shaphan, and Asahiah, went unto Huldah the prophetess, the wife of Shallum the son of Tikvah, the son of Harhas, keeper of the wardrobe; (now she dwelt in Jerusalem in the college;) and they communed with her.” 2 Timothy 1:5 “When I call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in thee, which dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois, and thy mother Eunice; and I am persuaded that in thee also.” There are only eleven women that the Bible specifically called a prophetess. Nine of them were true prophetesses. They are: Miriam (Exodus 15:20); Deborah (Judges 4:4); Huldah (2 Kings 22:14; 2 Chronicles 34:22); wife of Isaiah (Isaiah 8:3); Anna (Luke 2:36-38); and the four daughters of Philip (Acts 21:8-9). Two of them were false prophetesses: Noadiah (Nehemiah 6:14) and Jezebel (Revelation 2:20). Over half of these prophetesses (six) appear in the New Testament. Four of the prophetesses are virgin daughters. Three of the prophetesses are wives (Deborah, Huldah, and the wife of Isaiah). One is known as a widow named Anna. The marital status of the other prophetesses is unknown. Have you not read about them? What religion are you may I ask? None of us knows it all, but what I do know is truth. You don’t have to believe me at all, all you gotta do is go read it for yourself. And also it’s very important to have a Strongs Concordance Exhaustive Dictionary to look up the meaning of those words bc it takes it back to the original Hebrew and Greek language. I can by your name you’re probably an older man and was probably taught traditions of men instead the true word of God. This is where the problem is, people go and listen to their preachers, but never go back to check them out to see if it aligns with the word of God. God said to study to show thyself approved. Also, my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge.
@@sandragambrel9721 Rubbish. None will. Jesus came to redeem mankind and he created Eve as Adams companion. He never created the animals to be our companions. Pets that we have have been domesticated by us.
@@rosahacketts1668 I was joking about my pets. But in the long run of things, all the animals will be domesticated. Who knows for sure if any will be resurrected, lol? We can hope can't we, lol?
they sure will. If having your pups in heaven will make you happy, they'll be there too greet you. I used to keep a prayer journal and I kept a list of my beloved pets and prayed to the Lord that every one of them would be there. They have the purest God like love there is next to God himself, our animals do. They ask for nothing and want nothing but to love us and make us happy in return. Such a happy feeling isn't it.
God said, "your thoughts are not my thoughts and your ways are not my ways". I think that people really have no conception of what heaven is like at all. But there are small clues in the Bible that do help us to understand at least a little bit. Like the way Jesus and the Father are one, and that it will be like having God in your presence always. I believe there will be a unity and togetherness like we struggle to even fathom.
Jesus is not a expedite for all relations in heaven, just one big hinduism lie, that’s were it comes from originally, and Adam was lonely in the garden, god doesn’t change which means he won’t fulfill that
Ya the whole no marriage in heaven is one of the biggest false doctrines told, in fact there’s verses that god says he will increase peoples numbers forever LOL
No there’s no marriage in heaven. Marriage is a Sacrament, a means of grace but in heaven we’ve arrived. If you remember Jesus told the Pharisees there’s no marriage. If you have a theological question you just need to look to the authoritative Church He founded. The Catholic Church. You don’t need to turn to false teachers.
Yes because we dont die. So no need to do it again. God said marriage was good when he created it in the beginning. All good things from Eden are restored. Jesus used present tense not past tense when he spoke of marriage. Randy needs to study this a bit more. Every word impacts the meaning of a sentence.
Thank you for sharing.... The continuation of life is REAL indeed..Nothing to fear and comforting to know, we will after crossing over, experience the Light and Love of Jesus...and our loved ones too.
This may help. (Psalm 37:29) The righteous will possess THE EARTH, And they will LIVE FOREVER on it. No leaving this earth for righteous humans in general.
I believe pets are in Heaven waiting on us and I also believe our husband's are waiting on us like our grandma and grandpa. Heaven is a great place. No more hurting pain or tears. Only happy tears when we see our pets and loved ones and friends who went on before us. They are waiting for us at Heavens door.
With respect. That may be a nice thought. But is not scriptural. Our dead relatives will be REURRECTED back on earth under God's Government (Acts 24:15). (Psalm 37:29) The righteous will possess THE EARTH, And they will LIVE FOREVER ON IT. Remember Jesus telling us that the meek hearted will INHERIT THE EARTH (Matthew 5:5). Humans in general do not get to leave earth's environment unless with a space suit and oxygen supplies. Hope this helps reason.
@@tongakhan230 With similar respect, far be it from me to say someone else's interpretation is wrong if they came to that understanding in all earnest while honoring God. A 90 year-old friend, Sherwood Eliot Wirt, once said the older he grew in Christ, the more he realized just how little he understood in the large scope. As a lamp puts light unto our feet, we only see a small piece of the path. Just enough to avoid falling but not enough to go running out ahead.
I’m no Bible scholar but I too believe somehow that that we will be rewarded with our pets. I could absolutely be wrong and if that is the case, then I know that God will wipe away every tear and that we’re not gonna carry that sorrow. I don’t believe every dream I have is spiritual but I did have a beautiful dream about a family pet that passed away when I was a teen. This dog was like a family member and in my dream I was in a park and a tall man in a suit had my dog on a leash and I approached him and asked if I could walk my him down this beautiful flower tree path and he handed me the leash. I then proceeded to walk my dog and tell him how much I missed him. And then at the end of the path that man was there waiting for him. I felt that the man was an angel because he was tall. Again this was a dream but it gave me such peace and closure to not grieve him so hard anymore. That he was in Safekeeping.💕
I had many visions and dreams of Heaven and open visions . And Jesus said you will do Greater things than me for I have to leave so the comforter can come which is the Holy Spirit and he will b under you into all truth and show you things to come John 16;13
And yeah, there will be lots of things to do in heaven, tasks, assignemnts, work, etc. What exactly i don't know obviously, but the i hear the working conditions and benefits are heavenly. We'll want to things for our neighbors making it a joyful place.

Very insightful. I absolutely share the same views, especially in regards to our pets. Looking forward by tge will of God, by faith alone and by His grace to spend eternity with Christ.
Sadly, some of us find great comfort that there will be no marrying in heaven; our present "Christian marriage" is not a state in which we wish to continue for ever. :(
There will be no giving in marriage in the resurrection. But marriages that have been sealed for time and eternity in his holy temples will remain sealed forever. That with he has joined cannot be separated.
Janice Smith Um, both points are biblically sound. So I'm not wrong. Nothing about the concept that God would dissolve marriage and family in the next life sounds remotely like the God we worship. That's why it has always always rubbed people the wrong way. Because we know the God we worship, and that aint him. That which he has joined cannot be separated. But his authority is required to join an eternal sealing.
Matthew 22 Mark 12 We must remember God's grace is sufficient. He is loving and kind and just. To worry about what is to come for those who believe is a stress that is not necessary, but understanding. We can trust God and no matter what we know that He loves and cares for us. Why do we over think such things when in simplicity and child like faith we can know that no matter what He is God almighty and creator and we can trust Him fully.
I like what you said they're not to worry about it so much. But there's one thing that Randy said that got me to thinking. He said that when he ate and drank he said touch me not touch me cuz Flesh and Blood and Bones or something like that but Jesus didn't get transfigured into the new body till after he left and went to sit on the right hand of God the father so I'm a little confused here can somebody help me understand we know the Bible says that life food and Drinke are in the Holy Spirit but I'm not so sure it's real food not when we're resurrected into a new body and transformed where corruptible puts on incorruptible and mortality puts on immortality does anybody have any insight on what I'm talkin about here or any scriptures to backup anyting thank you
I know it wasn't addressed in this video, but it irks me when folks say "heaven gained an angel"...we don't turn into angels. They are a critter unto themselves.
We are already msrried and in the body of Christ once you acceot Jesus as your savior. It doesnt happen later, it happens now. A bride is already married as is a groom.
I'm a bit confused, the actual quote is 'you will not marry nor be given into marriage' That is the act of getting married, not being married... confused how this guy says God will take care of your pets and what not, but I don't understand how he would break up a marriage? Just a bit confused
I love you Danny in fact I love you so much I’m gonna send my son for you to spend eternity with me……buuut unfortunately your entire physical and sexual aflections for your spouse isn’t gonna be there, why? Because everyone will have a brother and sister type love…..soooo sounds more boring then earth? Oops LOL
Actually it's scary that in 2022 these fairy tales are still believed.By the way,my pet rock died suddenly,I'm sure he was good enough to enter heaven...LOL
A person I know passed away for a minute when his heart stopped then was in a place where his dog Annabel was in front of him and was calling to her.. So yes I believe our loved pets are their waiting for us to be reunited. God bless to everyone here
This makes me wonder who will have ownership over a pet? I rescued a dog from a house that was taken over by pack rats when they were kicked out of the house by the daughter of the mother who died.
I’m sure god will have those pets be taken well care of in the next life we head to. Loving and caring humans who cherish animals on this earth will be with those in the next I truly believe that. We are all energy and those who care loving energy with goodness will be surrounded by those animals who need that love 💔

I don't think anyone should be so Certain about something that isn't specifically said. That's called an opinion or assumption, which is something that shouldn't be attempted when it comes to the bible.
*"I don't think anyone should be so Certain about something that isn't specifically said."* Well said, Ida. The entire subject of going to heaven is an assumption. Does the Bible say anywhere that believers will go to heaven? Not as far as I can find.
@@janicesmith8946 Yes, Janice, 1 Thessalonians 4 says that believers will be caught up in the _air._ The passage says nothing about heaven. Here, take a look: _For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a loud command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will be the first to rise. After that, we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will always be with the Lord._
I am in the beginning of writing a book on my take on this subject. I thought of all the things that my sweet wife of 52 years loves and I came up with the thought that maybe if she precedes me: As I am walking on the streets of gold in Heaven I come to a "T" street and see someone familiar in the distance in a beautiful Victorian house, painted pale yellow with white trim and gingerbread accents at the gables. She is planting flowers in the yard just off a small back porch. She looks up and see me coming toward the house and invites me onto the porch for some lemonade or iced tea (her fav). We sit quietly, but surely we know each other and are very happy to being reunited there. She asked me if I would like to come back and have dinner with her about 6pm. (What is time in Heaven???) I accept. I thank her for the lemonade and say I will be back. I head down the street and there is a baseball game going on and the park is beautiful and the fans are cheering. I walk up to the fence and I see that Johnny Bench is catching and HE calls out my name and asked me to take over behind the plate as he has to be somewhere. Willie May, Mickey Mantle are there and also ask me to come play with them. It is as if every dream we have ever had is about to be fulfilled. We may have messed up these chances on earth, but nothing is out of the realm of possibility in Heaven. I play and have the best time (I love the game of baseball and played it up until I was 47) . I head back to my wife's house for supper and she tells me that two children are going to join us and as they are arriving I recognize them as my wife and I, but just as young children 5-6 years old. We have a wonderful dinner and just are totally enjoying each other's company, but not a word is spoken about who were are or were. My wife informs me that we are going to the most beautiful church service on the "grounds" we have ever seen and she knows I will love it. It will be the most wonderful praise and worship time for our God who paved the way.
God said marriage was good when he created it. It was his plan. The new Esrth will include marriage. Jesus never said we wont be married. He said men wont marry and women wont be given in marriage as we wont die, we are like the angels who have eternal life. When jesus speaks of death he spaeks of the second death. Jesus and God are the God of the living. Even Abraham who was still living at that time but not on Earth.
Joe Lynott,it says you will not be married or given in marriage but will be brothers and sisters. If my animals will not be there I don't want to go! It says the airbwill be alive with spirits coming to claim their earthly bodies and Jesus will make paradice on earth for a thousand years.

Technically it is not been 2000 years yet. He was born between 4 and 5 BC, if he was 33 when he was crucified and resurrected, then 2028 or 2029 will be the 2000 year mark. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Wow, a lot of what he said, I already knew. I can hear spirits and vaguely see faces and BTW, God has a sense of humor. I'm not crazy and this confirms it. Thank You
I believe--please correct me if I'm wrong--that emotions come from the soul. No one can look at dogs and deny they have emotions, so they must have a soul. And since souls cannot die, yes, I believe they will be in heaven. I wonder, though, if they'll be in the same form or will we relate to them as beings like ourselves, not just as "pets."
you are so correct , they do have emotions and feelings, my dogs were my best friends cause they love unconditional , miss them very much, I'm ready to be in Heaven what a day that will be
Your assumption that spirit and soul are the same thing is incorrect. Soul is emotions and thought. Spirit is your eternal essence. Two different things. Your soul dies, your spirit lives. However I do hope our pets are in heaven.
I don’t know if this is correct, but I figure since God created our animals as actual companions, they will be there. Anyone who has had a dog knows they have emotions- mine have shown happiness, sadness, jealousy- and they are each a completely different individual, dogs all have different personalities. That gives me reason to believe that they have little doggie souls. Are they the same as ours? No, but I don’t discount the importance God puts on them knowing how he created them to love us and for us to love. I guess we will see when we get there, but I like to think we have a whole pack of fuzzies waiting for us! 🐶
Where have you got it from that God created animals to be our companions? That isn't even scriptural. God created Eve to be his companion. Period. You are thinking from your own soul and wants and not thinking the order of creation and who God gave Adam for. Our domesticated animals are not in heaven - there is no biblical teachings of this. And Christ Jesus came to redeem mankind not animals. If you beg to differ please show me scripture.
@@rosahacketts1668 LOL have you ever had a dog? Is it or is it not a companion? Dogs and cats and other domesticated animals are nothing like a fish or a shark or something that would never understand being a companion. Most mammals understand companionship, it is a God-given gift. Whether they are our companions or each other’s companions in a pack, they are meant to be social creatures. Don’t forget someday the lion will lay down with the lamb.
Some of you are straight bugging. Our Joy is complete in Christ Jesus. And here we have Christians who are asking if they are going to be happy in heaven? Put down that heaven book and grab the Bible instead.
The Bible says that the lion will lay down with the lamb. So if the Lord can tame a lion i am sure that heaven will be safe from all of the chihuahuas. Lol
Great answer on the animals! On the marriage question that was a great way to describe the bride of Christ. I think a part two to that question was from the human perspective, when my wife and I are in heaven together will we realize that we are there together, or will we see everybody equally as the body as the bride?
Much of what I know about the "afterlife" (Heaven AND Hell) comes from the study of NDE's as well as the Bible. Here's a few things I've learned: This is the dream. The afterlife is hyper-reality. See more, hear more etc. A spirit can take on a physical appearance if desired. And back and forth. Keep in mind that God himself does this as well as demons and angels. It's all in the Bible. Also, keep in mind that the spirit-God created the physical world. There are similarities. They are connected. God is a spirit first and foremost and we are made in His image. Thus, we are spirits as well. Why did God create us in the first place? He was lonely! Because at one time (actually time is an illusion), he was the only being that existed. There was NOTHING else. As it is written - "And the spirit of God hovered over the face of the deep". The kind of loneliness that God suffered was like nothing we could ever understand. You can be lonely in a crowded room. With God there was no crowded room. There was NOTHING! This is why God wants to have a relationship with all of us. This is why he created families. This is why he created women! And marriage. " And God saw that it was not good for man to be alone" How did God know that it was not good for man to be alone? Because He himself was alone and understood loneliness. Satan wants to destroy everything God has created. Especially relationships. Satan hates relationships of any kind. He has an agenda and he has reasons. Too much to write about here.
I think Randy missed it on marriage. First, one needs to look carefully at some facts: Adam and Eve were brought together as a couple BEFORE the fall of man. Adam and Eve were one flesh and in harmony with one another without sin while also being able to experience the full presence of God in relationship with Him. God is going to return the creation back to how it was prior to the fall of man with the introduction of sin. Second: the made up scenario that the Sadducees presented Jesus to test Him is what is known as a levirate marriage which was more like a business deal than being anything like what God intended and occurred when a death happened (we will not longer have to deal with death). In their scenario they presented, it contained elements that the Sadducees did not believe in (like the resurrection) and Jesus in like presented them with an answer that also contained elements the Sadducees did not believe in (angels). Jesus didn't lie when He said that there would be no marriage in heaven because the scenario they presented to Him is NOTHING like what God intended and will not be in heaven. What we will have will be a oneness with the Lord (echad in Hebrew) and the oneness in relationship with our "other half" which will be a triune relationship with the Lord as the head and the man and woman in sin-free harmony just like He originally intended before the introduction of sin in creation.
What’s funny with randy is, if people are nether taking or giving in marriage then how they married to Jesus ether?🤣🤣 it’s all lies from satan because he doesn’t want gods creation back to way it was
No, not if you don’t have the priesthood,or have the sealing ordnances .what is bound on earth is bound in heaven, what is loosed on earth is loosed in heaven. You must have this ordnance done by someone who holds the keys to do so
What about the woman who married 7 brothers and no offspring? They asked whose wife would she be in the resurrection and Jesus said "For in the resurrection they neither marry or are given in marriage but are as angels in heaven. Matthew c 22 v 23-30.
I believe that the sealing power of the Melchizedek Priesthood enables families to remain intact in the eternities. This is the same priesthood that Simon tried to buy from Peter (who had received the Priesthood by the laying on of hands from Jesus Christ), but was told in Acts 8:20 that “Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.” Without being sealed by proper priesthood authority… ‘til death do us part is the best any ecclesiastical leader can pronounce at a wedding. But, this is not necessarily the end of eternal marriage possibilities. There is a space of time between death and the resurrection which Peter referred to when he said, “For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.” (see 1 Peter 4:6). In this realm, ALL the principles of the gospel will be taught to those who did not fully embrace them in mortality-that they may choose to receive all the ordinances and blessings of the full gospel, prior to judgement. During this time, those that accept the invitation to embrace all the principles of the gospel can have their ordinance work done by proxy by those still residing on earth. This is referred to in 1 Corinthians 15 where it says… “ Else what shall they do which are baptized for the dead, if the dead rise not at all? why are they then baptized for the dead?” Proxy baptism and proxy marriage sealings are two important blessings that ALL of God’s children can receive in the spirit world if they choose to embrace them-prior to judgement. If they do not, then as described in Luke 20: 35, “But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:” The key to having an eternal marriage is first gaining a testimony of the gospel principles that support it. This means prayerfully considering which of all religions truly holds ALL the keys of priesthood authority. Then, going through the prescribed steps to obtain a marriage sealing. I believe this is possible to achieve in mortality.
@@rachels.1011 - Thank you for the compliment. Eternal families are truly an essential part of God’s plan for his children. The question of how it can be achieved is one that I wish more were eager to receive the answer. I’m happy to share what I believe (and know), with all who are willing to listen.
We are told in the book of Revelation, Chapter 20 that a first and second resurrection has been planned for all of God's children-which individuals qualify for, according to the covenants they receive and keep. Those that receive and keep ALL of God's covenants are destined to rise in the first resurrection (at the beginning of the Millennium), and those that do not in the second (at the end of the Millennium). There is no mention in Luke 20:35 which resurrection Christ was referring to, but I believe he was speaking of the second-reserved for those who choose not to accept the fulness of the gospel (either in mortality or the spirit world), including marriage-sealing by priesthood authority. If this were not the case, there would be no need for Christ to organize the preaching of his gospel in the spirit world... 1 Peter 4:6 says, “For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.” And again, referring to proxy baptisms... 1 Corinthians 15:29 says, "Else what shall they do which are baptized for the dead, if the dead rise not at all? why are they then baptized for the dead. Both of these passages of scripture refer in part to the mission of the priesthood, according to Christ's command-that all of God's children might receive the fullness of his gospel, before their days of judgement and resurrection. In between the first and second/final resurrection (during the millennium), the preaching of the gospel will continue under the personal direction of Christ to all people, both living and dead. The keys of his priesthood authority will be given to his authorized servants to seal families on both sides of the veil, prior to their final judgement and relegation to one of God's kindgdoms... referred to in 1 Conrinthians 15:40-42. For couples that were not sealed by Christ's priesthood authority in life, they will have an opportunity to embrace the gospel as spirits and accept a marriage sealing by proxy (by one holding Christ's priesthood authority), in a temple of God.
I'm glad I am able to have this blessing here in this life. My husband and I are going to be sealed by this priesthood power soon.So many blessings have been poured out on us because of our decision to covenant with our father for our eternal progression.
Interesting subject matter.
I think that there should be more discussion in church on this.

Acts 2:16 - 18
16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;
17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:
Judges 4:4 KJV
“And Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lapidoth, she judged Israel at that time.”
Acts 21:9
“And the same man had four daughters, virgins, which did prophesy.”
Luke 2:36
“And there was one Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Aser: she was of a great age, and had lived with an husband seven years from her virginity;”
Exodus 15:20
“And Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a timbrel in her hand; and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dances.”
2 Kings 22:14
“So Hilkiah the priest, and Ahikam, and Achbor, and Shaphan, and Asahiah, went unto Huldah the prophetess, the wife of Shallum the son of Tikvah, the son of Harhas, keeper of the wardrobe; (now she dwelt in Jerusalem in the college;) and they communed with her.”
2 Timothy 1:5
“When I call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in thee, which dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois, and thy mother Eunice; and I am persuaded that in thee also.”
There are only eleven women that the Bible specifically called a prophetess.

God said, "your thoughts are not my thoughts and your ways are not my ways". I think that people really have no conception of what heaven is like at all. @@mrjeffjob what's the point of marriage then
Yes because we dont die. So no need to do it again. God said marriage was good when he created it in the beginning. All good things from Eden are restored. Jesus used present tense not past tense when he spoke of marriage. Randy needs to study this a bit more. Every word impacts the meaning of a sentence.

No your wrong
Janice Smith Um, both points are biblically sound. So I'm not wrong. Nothing about the concept that God would dissolve marriage and family in the next life sounds remotely like the God we worship. That's why it has always always rubbed people the wrong way. Because we know the God we worship, and that aint him. That which he has joined cannot be separated. But his authority is required to join an eternal sealing.

*"I don't think anyone should be so Certain about something that isn't specifically said."* Well said, Ida. The entire subject of going to heaven is an assumption. Does the Bible say anywhere that believers will go to heaven? Not as far as I can find.
@@IsaacNussbaum Yes it says they will be caught up in the air to live with Him forever.
@@janicesmith8946 Yes, Janice, 1 Thessalonians 4 says that believers will be caught up in the _air._ The passage says nothing about heaven. Here, take a look:
_For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a loud command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will be the first to rise.

I don't think so mam
Yes they do show emotion and that is the characteristic of a soul.
Future Glory a book by Ed Hindson, the best book in my opinion written on heaven. That said I've always prayed I would have my pets in heaven.
Great answer on the animals! On the marriage question that was a great way to describe the bride of Christ. I think a part two to that question was from the human perspective, when my wife and I are in heaven together will we realize that we are there together, or will we see everybody equally as the body as the bride?
Every believer in christ is his bride. We are all considered the bride of the lord
Much of what I know about the "afterlife" (Heaven AND Hell) comes from the study of NDE's as well as the Bible.
Here's a few things I've learned:
This is the dream.
" And God saw that it was not good for man to be alone"
How did God know that it was not good for man to be alone? Because He himself was alone and understood loneliness.
Satan wants to destroy everything God has created. Especially relationships. Satan hates relationships of any kind.
He has an agenda and he has reasons. Too much to write about here.
Well said!
Thank you asking great questions.
This talked about pets more than marriage. This didn’t make marriage in heaven any more clearer.
Being perfected means feeling perfect about all that it will be
I think Randy missed it on marriage.
What’s funny with randy is, if people are nether taking or giving in marriage then how they married to Jesus ether?🤣🤣 it’s all lies from satan because he doesn’t want gods creation back to way it was
Hi Kirk!
When Jesus was asked about this very question he said we would be like Angels and would be subject to God. So no we will not be married in heaven
You should try listening Kat Kerr she has been alot at first I couldn't believe but then I listen and I long for Heaven.
No, not if you don’t have the priesthood,or have the sealing ordnances .what is bound on earth is bound in heaven, what is loosed on earth is loosed in heaven. You must have this ordnance done by someone who holds the keys to do so
That is exactly right
Thank you gentlemen. 🙂
"Till death do you part." That's it.
If I can't be with my husband then it is not heaven
You mean that UNBIBLICAL marriage val that came from the common prayer book the cathedral wrote? LOL the concept itself isn’t even biblical
That is nowhere in the bible.
This is the same priesthood that Simon tried to buy from Peter (who had received the Priesthood by the laying on of hands from Jesus Christ), but was told in Acts 8:20 that “Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.”
Without being sealed by proper priesthood authority… ‘til death do us part is the best any ecclesiastical leader can pronounce at a wedding.
This is referred to in 1 Corinthians 15 where it says… “ Else what shall they do which are baptized for the dead, if the dead rise not at all? why are they then baptized for the dead?”
Proxy baptism and proxy marriage sealings are two important blessings that ALL of God’s children can receive in the spirit world if they choose to embrace them-prior to judgement.
If they do not, then as described in Luke 20: 35, “But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:”
The key to having an eternal marriage is first gaining a testimony of the gospel principles that support it. This means prayerfully considering which of all religions truly holds ALL the keys of priesthood authority. Then, going through the prescribed steps to obtain a marriage sealing. I believe this is possible to achieve in mortality.
That was beautifully written. I completely belive the same about families being together forever. I couldn't have said any of that better.
@@rachels.1011 - Thank you for the compliment. Eternal families are truly an essential part of God’s plan for his children. The question of how it can be achieved is one that I wish more were eager to receive the answer. I’m happy to share what I believe (and know), with all who are willing to listen.
Jesus told the sadducees we would neither marry nor be married in Heaven. You are changing His Word.
1 Peter 4:6 says, “For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.”
And again, referring to proxy baptisms...
When you think you can describe someting like Heaven you put yourself above God.
